Feeling down on your luck lately? Looking for a little catharsis amid the chaos of life? Welcome to "A Catastrophic Cabaret", an evening of song, dance, and improv comedy all about luck and those who lack it. As a fledgling theater troupe tries to mount their very first stage production, misfortune can’t stop striking - the lights stop working, the sets keep falling, and everything’s over-budget. Will they be able to cobble together a show in time? Or will disaster befall our heroes? Developed and devised by local Pittsburgh theater-makers, "A Catastrophic Cabaret" will run for approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. Food and drink will be available, as well as fundraiser events, to help kick off Suspension Theatrical Arts, a new production company dedicated to bringing accessible theater to Millvale.

We are offering a livestream ticket for those who can't join us in person. All livestream ticket holders will be emailed on the day of the show with the link to watch online.

We're also offering a discounted ticket for students, artists, and Millvale Residents. If this is you just choose the $10 ticket and when you arrive we'll ask to verify with a student ID, proof of residency, or if you're an artist, you can just show us your work on your phone (pictures, or audio)!

Ticket prices:
$20 General Admission
$10 Millvale Resident/Artist/Student available at the door

PASSION AT MR. SMALLS THEATRE - POSTPONED, NEW DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED

Ticket holders will be emailed when the new dates are announced. There will be a 30 day refund window starting the day new dates are announced for anyone who cannot make the new dates.

Suspension Theatrical Arts, dedicated to bringing live theater and opera to Millvale will produce PASSION, the Tony-Award winning one-act chamber opera from legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Productions of this show are a rarity, receiving fewer productions than most of Sondheim's other work. However, in the wake of Stephen Sondheim?s death, it is more important than ever to show this incredibly intimate and personal work to the world. Spearheaded by an insanely talented cast and crew of local theater stalwarts, CMU students and alumni, this show is a not-for-profit production intended to gauge community interest in the potential for live theater in Millvale.
