The MFPA is proud to be contributing over $9,000 towards grants for the 2023-2024 school year!

Below are grants we have funded since 2013:

• Private music lesson financial aid
• Instrument rental financial aid
• Portable sound system
• New instruments for the music programs, including a baby grand piano
• Bus transportation for enrichment trips and festivals
• Support of the Tri-M and ITS Honor Societies
• Support of the Medway High School and Medway Middle School drama and musical productions
• Support of student participation in MICCA Festivals and MMEA All States
• Support of Memorial School Arts Night
• Support for curriculum-based enrichment activities for the music programs
• Scholarships to two graduating seniors
• Free community concerts

The MFPA is able to provide funding grants to the Medway Public School System and Community through donations to our 501(C)3.  Our largest effort to-date was the 2023-2024 “88 Keys for Kids Campaign” that raised over $40,000 towards the purchase of acoustic shells, choral risers, and a concert-grade baby grand piano.  This was done in partnership with grants from the Medway Foundation for Education and the Town of Medway.
