MD Virtual Ensemble was originally started as MD Productions and it began in the Spring of 2018 by Matt Denney. He wanted to put on a one-night-only student-directed show for the community free of charge that furthered the conversation about Mental Health. The first production was entitled “Pretty Pieces” by Charles Robertson and starred Cassady Anderson and Ryan Corrigan, both of which continue to support and perform in shows. “Pretty Pieces” was a fabulous success with 126 people in attendance.

Now MD Virtual Ensemble prides itself on going back to the roots of theatre, where we get artists together and perform our craft and collaborate on artistic performative projects.

Mission Statement:

MD VIRTUAL ENSEMBLE IS A COLLABORATIVE GROUP OF ARTISTS DEDICATED TO THE EXPERIMENTAL SPACE OF THEATRE AND PERFORMATIVE WORKS
