The Millennium Theatre

Built in 1999, our 300 seat proscenium theatre is home to many Theatre Arts productions. In 2022, the Millennium was updated and upgraded with new paint, carpet, and lobby amenities. Our student run technical booth includes lighting, sound, and media controls.

Casting Policy  

It is the policy of Maumee Valley Country Day School to cast regardless of race, color, gender, or disability where allowed by the script.  The director will cast the best choice for each role based on the quality of individual performances after everyone has had an opportunity to audition.  Unless specifically noted before auditions, roles are not precast.  In the event the director feels a particular role cannot be cast satisfactorily from the available auditioners, other actors may be contacted and auditioned separately.  An invitation from the director to audition is not a guarantee of placement in the company.

Placement in the cast and continued attendance at rehearsal is conditional. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be in good standing with their teachers and advisor. Behavior at rehearsals and performances is governed by the discipline policies of the school. Due to the time constraints of production, a student removed from a role for either academic or disciplinary reasons is not guaranteed reinstatement in their role, or in the production.
