"Every day is an improv day"

Mission
The Theatre Department teaches commitment, diligence, and respect to students who are passionate among the various aspects of theatre both in and out of the classroom. We focus on 21st century skills to build life skills, social emotional learning skills, and professionalism.
Vision
- To read, write, speak, and listen in all theatre areas.
- To acquire effective communication and critical thinking skills.
- To demonstrate independence and motivation to take responsibility for their own learning.
- To display cultural responsiveness and collaborative practices.
- To strengthen creativity skills using various theatrical techniques.
The Roles We Play
Every job is student run - from running lights to acting to stage managing. Students and teachers work as a collaborative team. The PAC and Green Room are respected places we like to call the "home away from home." Students who have experience running the PAC are eligible to become paid PAC technicians. We welcome you and enjoy our work and talent!
The Thespian Troupe 525, an International Honors Society, is our club. We plan and hold events that all LHS students may attend. Such events would include the annual Musical Boot Camp for our students to teach younger students various workshops from our current musical. Please see page for MBC details.
There are five theatre classes offered at Lincoln High School: Introduction to Theatre, Theatre Technology, Acting & Production, Advanced Drama and Theatrical Events Capstone. At WRAMS, Creative Drama is offered to eighth grade students.
