Since 2009, Liars & Believers has been creating original, genre-defying theatre. We use music, movement, mask, puppet, video, clown, bands, aerialists...pretty much anything we can get our hands on to tell a good story. Our shows range from apocalyptic-scifi-steampunk-musical to family-friendly clown adventure.
We have been hosted in several multi-year residencies including the American Repertory Theater’s OBERON and the Boston Center for the Arts. We have toured from Philly to Maine, played in the heart of New York City at Ars Nova, been featured at national festivals, and won awards for our innovative storytelling and design. Our current focus is preparing for our run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August.
