Hello Chesterton Stage Productions Friends, Family, and Followers,

 It's 2024 and I wanted to talk about what is happening with CSP this year.

We have two spring shows planned:

Our first show of the year will be GK Chesterton’s Magic: a Fantastical Comedy. You will have a fantastic time watching 9 of our brightest actors giving you a story that will have you laughing in your seat and discussing life after the show. Magic performances are Friday & Saturday, April 12 & 13 on the Heritage Chapel Stage in Rochester NH (right next to Emmanuel Church).

Chesterton Stage Productions is once again partnering with Jesse Remington High School. This year’s show is Midsummer Nights Dream. See the Original Shakespearean work with an 80’s New Wave flair and a new cast from JRHS. They will perform the weekend of May 17th at Candia Congregational church in Candia NH.

This summer we are going to hold a two week day camp for new actors ages 8-12. We will learn about acting, do fun theater games, and they will be cast as the Wonderland characters in our show “Alice Through the Looking Glass”. We will meet Mon-Fri, June 17-21 and June 24-28 with shows June 28 & 29, Hosted at Emmanuel Church in Rochester.

After Alice, we are also looking at a Teen Improv Class weekly over the summer!

Then in September we will have Auditions for our new Teen show “The Nutcracker and Mouse Queen!” This show is based on the EAF Hoffman novel (and influenced by the Safe Haven Ballet rendition). This will be a straight play that tells the full story of the Nutcracker’s adventures. Our educational theater model provides actors an opportunity to hone their acting skills, whether trying acting for the first time or have performed in many plays and want to expand their repertoire; while within a supportive environment . The cast will be ages 11-19 years old.

And of course, in late November / early December we will be performing “The Nutcracker and Mouse Queen”!
