Our Story:

For multiple generations, our stage has been a canvas of creativity.  From toe-tapping musicals to thought-provoking dramas,  we've woven stories that resonate with hearts young and old.  Our alumni have gone on to perform on and support Broadway stages, film sets, concert halls, and cruise ships – proof that dreams take flight here.

Our Mission:

Our mission is simple; to ignite the spark of creativity in every student.  Whether they're belting out show tunes, perfecting a pirouette, designing a set, or creating the perfect lighting, we believe in fostering talent, discipline, and resilience. Our rehearsals are more than practice; they're a journey of self-discovery.

Spotlight on Students:

Our students are the heartbeat of our program.  They're the shy freshman who discovers their voice, the tech whiz who conjures lighting miracles, and the lead actor who steps into another world.  We celebrate their triumphs, big and small.

Whether you're a student, parent, or theatre enthusiast, there's a place for you here.  As a student, sign up for musical theatre, drama or a musical theatre tech class.   As a parent or friend, you can volunteer or donate to the Buford Theatre Department.  Everyone can simply cheer from the audience.   Theatre is a shared experience, and you're invited!
