2020-2021 Season Finale

Our programming for the 2020-2021 season includes Pure Flamenco performances, performances of a World Premiere Afro-Haitian/Flamenco Fusion work, and performances of a new Flamenco Ballet, “En el Abismo”, an original Flamenco Ballet inspired by Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. This project brings our international collaborations to the next phase and continues our development of our art form beyond the subject matter that is traditionally used for Flamenco ballets, which are usually works by Spanish playwrights such as Garcia Lorca or works that take place in Spain, such as Carmen and Don Quixote.

American, European and Flamenco history, culture and theater share many qualities that we will be able to explore in this work, while attracting wider audiences and heightening awareness of the commonalities of all cultures and the human condition we share.
