John’s journey into playwriting comes after decades of creating stories in the advertising business. In 2015, John embarked on an acting and voiceover career and has studied Meisner technique at The Acting Studio. He often turns up as a detective, executive or bartender in various commercials, network TV shows and independent films. Logic & Hope and West of New York are John’s first plays with the Ryan Repertory Company.

Chris Burgess is a young theatre artist originally from Massachusetts and currently living in Brooklyn. Since getting into theatre at 18, he has acted in productions like Supid Fucking Bird, 116 Square Feet, and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. He has a Bachelor’s in Media Arts from LIU Brooklyn and is currently getting his Master’s in Theatre at Hunter College. For non-acting roles, he wroteThe Instagram Post (produced at Ryan Rep) and is directing This Is Our Youth for LIU Brooklyn.

Luke DiCola is an established video production professional with clients such as UGG, Stuart Weitzman, Snapchat and NYU on his roster. Additionally, Luke owns and operates Long Island music recording studio Music Attic, which is also home to a music discovery series that he produces. Luke recently released his debut solo album under his own name, he enjoys watching news bloopers on YouTube from time to time, and became an unofficial mixologist during quarantine.

is a New York City based costume and graphic designer. She currently sits on the Executive Committee of The Heights Players as the Graphics & Media Chair. When not designing graphics and media for Ryan Repertory Company, Amanda is a passionate costume designer whose work has been seen Off-Broadway with Good Morning New York, a new musical and Simius - Broadway Bound Festival.
