Twelfth Night (or What You Will) Cast

Bella Uribe Paganessi (Viola/Cesario)
(they/them) Bella is a senior. This is their 9th show. They are very excited for this 80's-themed spectacle, and also to partake in a comedy, which is new to them. Bella would like to thank the cast, Mr. B, and their family and friends for supporting them during the rehearsal process. They are very proud of everyone who has put work into it and is grateful to have this opportunity.
Zetta Culkstena (Olivia)
(she/her) Zetta is currently a senior and leading the MV Drama Club. She is looking forward to playing her first lead role in 12th Night or what you will as Olivia This is her eighth show at Maumee Valley and her favorite was Chicago(Mona). Zetta would like to thank Mr.B and his wife for dealing with her craziness, her friends for being super supportive and loving(My people and world<3), and finally her parents for listening and supporting her through her acting. Zetta is very thankful for the community, she has been a part of and is happier than she has ever been.
Maddi Pienta (Maria)
(she/her) Maddi, a senior, has been at MV for 4 years. Her first show was Chicago, where she played Hunyak. She was given the opportunity to assistant direct A Wrinkle in Time. She loves her character, Maria, as she is clever, sharp-tongued, and a little fruity. It was her dream role in the show. As someone who is quite reserved, Maddi is glad she made her way to the theatre program as it has allowed her to grow as a person and find a loving community. Outside of theater, Maddi enjoys traveling, especially to NYC to see her favorite Broadway musicals. She loves to experience the hard work they do to put on the show and hopes that she can do the same.
Andrea Liedberg  (Miss Tami Belch)
(she/her) Andrea is an eighteen year old senior from Maumee Valley. She hasn’t been in a play since intensives of her freshman year, so she is excited to be getting back into theater work as Tami Belch, aunt of Olivia. She is grateful for the hard work of all of her cast mates, and all of the backstage workers who gave this show its sparkle, and is happy to finally have the time to take part in a high school theater show.
Bee Stiles (Sir Andrew Aguecheek)
(he/they) Bee is thirteen years old and in eighth grade. They are very excited about this show since it’s their first big role. He has been in two other shows before this and is very grateful for this opportunity. They would like to thank their friend, Maisie, for helping them build up enough courage to start doing theater in the first place, and their parents for always believing they could do it.
Jordan Reynolds  (Malvolio)
(they/them) Jordan is a 15 year old sophomore, they are looking forward to playing not only their first role but Malvolio! Thankfully, Jordan has the chance to be in their first ever show with their best friend Mariam Doumani (playing curio). They are very excited to play Malvolio as well as thankful to have this opportunity.
Kade Hayes (The Fool (Feste))
(he/him) Kade is fourteen and is in his freshman year. He has been in theater for many years. Kade would like to thank his mother for helping him find a community, and for aways helping with his lines.
Maisie Green (Fabian)
(she/her) Maisie is thirteen years old and is currently in eighth grade. She is extremely excited to play Fabian in this production of Twelfth Night, because this is her first Shakespeare show and she is ready for the challenge. Maisie has been in six shows at Maumee Valley, but some of her favorites have been James And The Giant Peach (Ladybug), Chicago (Ensemble) and Suessical (Bird Girl). She would like to thank her parents for supporting her in everything it does and her friends Bee and Alex who are always there for her. Maisie has never done a show quite like this one, but she is very excited to perform and ready to take on the challenges of Shakespeare.
Kevin Ham (Duke Orsino)
(he/him) Kevin is a sixteen year old junior on his third show of his career. He’s looking forward to making the most of his first less prominent role as Duke Orsino. He debuted coming back to his birthplace as Billy Flynn in last year’s Chicago (His favorite) and Calvin O’Keefe in A Wrinkle in Time. Kevin would like to thank his family for making time to come see and support him, his favorite cast mate Mariam, and Hannah for being there when he’s burnt out, looking forward to more great shows with Mr B!
Max Solomon (Valentine)
(he/him) Max is fourteen years old and is currently a freshman. This is Max’s second play, with James and the Giant Peach being his first. Max would like to thank his family and friends for all the support that they have given in Max’s journey in theatre.
Mariam Doumani (Curio)
(she/her) Mariam is fifteen years old and is currently a freshmen. She has been participating in theatre since the second grade and has a huge passion for plays (she likes musicals more though), and she is extremely excited to be playing Curio in 12th night. She would like to thank her parents for driving her to all the rehearsals and for the overall support, and Mr. B and making this show happen. She is BEYOND excited to see how everything turns out, and the cleanup after the last show night.
Tristan Hirt (Sebastian)
Tristan Hirt is 17 years old, and a junior student. This is his first show and theater production. He’s in love with the 80’s theme of Shakespeare’s “What you Will.” Passion of which, is driven by his family’s love for both Shakespeare and good music (80’s music). He’s thankful for the help of the students that brought him into the play, and even more thankful for the continued support of the same students and director that have made him want to stay with the show. Although this is only his first show- he is proud to be apart of it, and hopes to continue working on more in the future.
Riley Husain (Antonio)
Riley is a Junior and has been at MV for 15 years. He has been an active member of the theatre community for over ten years now and has participated in 16 productions at Maumee Valley alone. His favorite roles include Tilly Evans in She Kills Monsters (2022), the Young Kangaroo in Seussical (2019), and a member of the ensemble in his first ever show The King and I (2013). In the little time he is not at rehearsal, (he/him) Riley also enjoys fiction writing, playing D&D, and crocheting.
Ethan Chen (Capitan)
(he/him) Ethan is eighteen years old and is currently a junior. He is so glad that he can play the Captain and Servant on the stage. By the way, this is the first time for him to work in the theater program. He extremely thanks Mr. B and peers, who led him to get involved in play and make it great together. Ethan is proud of the whole team and himself and is ready to show his best on the stage.
Nora Culkstena (Priest)
(he/they) Nora, is currently in 6th grade. He is very excited too play my part in 12th night and too audition for upcoming plays/musicals.
Mira Weingarden (Officer Kris)
(she/her) Mira is 14 years old and currently a freshman. She is the twin sister of Becca Weingarden, who is playing Officer Chris. She enjoys the random character banter they do onstage because it sometimes happens in real life, too. This is Mira's 5th show and her first time writing a bio. She would like to thank Becca, her parents, and Mr. B for supporting her through her theatrical journey. Mira is very glad to have experienced this show and is excited to continue her theater career in the following years.
Becca Weingarden (Officer Chris)
(she/her) Becca is a freshman who is excited to continue her theater journey in high school. Though she doesn't like most Shakespeare plays, she wanted to be in 12th Night because of the crazy comedy in all of it. Becca especially loves this role because she gets to work very closely with her sister, Mira.
Lily Hirt (Bob (Olivia's House))
Lily is very happy she got to participate in the show. She would like to thank Tristan and Mariam for getting her to audition.
MJ Conover (Bob (Orsino's House))
MJ is in the 7th grade and began her performing arts journey as Flounder in the Lower School's production of The Little Mermaid Jr. Mattingly discovered her passion for the performing arts which sparked a love and confidence that was unmatched by other opportunities within Maumee Valley. A follow-up role as Chip in the Upper School's Beauty and the Beast served as an opportunity to work with a cast of some of the brightest talent to come out of MV. MJ rounded out her 6th-grade year as James in the Lower/Middle School's performance of James and the Giant Peach. MJ is excited to work alongside the Upper School students again in her supporting role as BOB (Orsino's servant) as these opportunities have served pivotal roles in her growth as an actor. She would like to thank her mother for being her biggest supporter whether it be through costume designs or providing food. She would also like to thank Mr. B for believing in her, Gabi Myers for being her role model and mentor throughout her early years in the theater, and the cast and crew (Mama B too) who have made each production a core memory.
