The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical Cast

Gabe Shelley-Tremblay (Percy Jackson)
Gabe is a Davidson 10th grader, and this is his first theatre performance with Warrior Theatre, although, he’s been doing theatre for quite a while now. He is very excited to be a part of this wonderful show!
Julia Christine Simmons (Annabeth Chase)
Julia Christine is a Senior at DHS and a lifelong member and lover of theatrics. She has been involved technically and performatively in nearly every Warrior Theatre show since she was in the eighth grade. Julia Christine enjoys singing, learning about mythology, dancing, sitting alone in the rain, reading, and spending hours painting with her orange tabby. She is so excited to finish her high school theatre career as Annabeth Chase in the musical The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical!
Harrison Collins (Grover/Mr. D (Percy Understudy))
Harrison Collins is currently a senior at Davidson, and he has performed in multiple shows here. Harrison was cast in Davidson's Little Shop of Horrors (RIP), One Word Macbeth (as Macbeth), the Great High School Whodunnit, Annie, Shuddersome: Tales of Poe, Murder at the Company Party, and others. He may be recognized by his appearances in Davidson's Got Talent and Davidson's Power of the Arts event in 2021. Harrison is now cast in Percy Jackson as Grover Underwood, Dionysus and is Understudying Percy! Come see him perform as well as he can and be prepared for him to blow you out of the water!
Justin Scurlock (Luke)
Justin is a junior here at DHS, and he is from Laurel, MD; moving to Mobile in 2021. This is his first show that he’s performing for our school. Justin is part of the Mobile Kappa League. He has been into Theatre since he was 14 years old and has been building experience with Warrior Theatre since the start of the 2021-2022 school year. When Justin graduates, he plans on studying Theatre Arts at a 4-year college and start his acting career!
Wesley Hunt (Mr. Brunner/Chiron)
Wesley Hunt is a DHS Senior and has been a member of Warrior Theatre since his sophomore year. As an actor, he's been King Duncan in the tragicomic One Word Macbeth, Mr. Dudley in the improvised Great High School Whodunnit, Drake and Lt. Ward in the musical Annie, and multiple roles in the chilling Shuddersome: Tales of Poe. Behind the scenes, Wesley helps in building and painting the sets as the crew chief for set construction. Between productions, he participates heavily in the troupe, currently being a three-star thespian. In his free time, Wesley enjoys cooking, gardening, wood splitting, and coin collecting; but nowadays, he's quite busy preparing for the greatest test of his singing abilities yet. But he's up to the challenge, and ready to put on his best and final performance for Warrior Theatre and DHS in The Lightning Thief!
Samantha Vacik (Sally Jackson/Charon)
Samantha is a senior who has definitely been through the ropes. She has helped with or performed in The One Word Macbeth, Annie, Shuddersome: Tales of Poe, Murder at the Company Party with Warrior Theatre. In addition, Samantha has costumed at JJP for the shows, Anne and Emmett and Brighton Beach Memoirs. She plans to get her MD and be a psychiatrist.
Lily Tran (Silena Beauregard/The Oracle)
Lily Tran is a Freshman at DHS and has just started to build her theatre experiences. She had been intrigued by theatre since she watched her first ever musical, Hamilton (2015), and grasped the opportunity to join Davidson’s International Thespian Society. She is so excited to show off her skills in her first performance, The Lightning Thief, as Silena Beauregard and The Oracle!
Faith Barnette (Clarisse)
Faith Barnette has enjoyed her theatrical experiences, both inside and outside of Warrior Theatre’s productions. She was most recently seen here as Rosalie Poe in this fall’s production of Shuddersome: Tales of Poe. Faith started doing theatre in 6th grade when her joy for theatre was first sparked while participating in Warrior Theatre’s production of Seussical. Since then, she has also performed at Playhouse in the Park. Faith is excited for you to see her in this production of THE LIGHTNING THIEF as Clarisse, “the daughter of Ares, God of war.”
Sophia Barbosa (Mrs. Dodds/Thalia (Clarisse Understudy))
Barbosa is 16 years old, and she is a sophomore at Davidson High School. She was in last year’s production of Annie Jr. and Shuddersome: Tales of Poe from earlier this year.
Breanna Tran (Katie Gardner (Sally Jackson/Charon Understudy))
Breanna Tran is a sophomore at who has recently joined Warrior Theatre. She has always had a passion for anything theatrical ever since she discovered her love of various Broadway musicals. Breanna is also a member of Davidson’s very own band, The Sound of Mobile where she loves to play the clarinet. Not only does she love playing music, she also loves singing and is so excited to show you her those skills in her first ever production, The Lightning Thief.
Kaitlyn Russell (Ensemble-Annabeth Understudy)
This is Kaitlyn’s first year and her first show as a junior at Warrior Theatre. She has appeared in many performances at Robertsdale High School such as Speed Date, A Christmas Carol, Willy Wonka, and is happy to accept the role of Annabeth’s understudy in The Lightning Thief. She hopes to grow and learn with Warrior Theatre and hopes to be in more performances next year!
Jester Christiansen (Ensemble-Grover/Mr. D Understudy)
Jester is a sophomore at DHS and has been working hard with theatre since freshman year. Last year, she built sets and worked on the sound crew for Annie. So far this year, Jester has been working hard with Shuddersome: Tales of Poe and as an ensemble member and understudy for Grover Underwood and Mr. D in The Lightning Thief! She is very excited to have this chance to work on the show and is happy to share theatre with all her friends!
Dawn Nicholson (Ensemble-Silena/Oracle Understudy)
Dawn is a senior and has been involved with Warrior Theatre since her freshman year. Taking part in Little Shop of Horrors, Annie, The Great High School Whodunit, Shuddersome, and Murder at the Company party. Dawn is also the sound engineer for the Copeland Auditorium. Working there keeps her busy, but she still finds time for things like sound design, tennis, Dungeons and Dragons, DECA, SkillsUSA, JROTC, and basic training. Her hobbies are creative writing, playwriting, drawing, sound, music, and reading psychology books. After graduation she will be enlisting in the Navy but still will find ways to indulge in her love of theater.
