One of several programs within Imagination Express Arts Education Outreach, Our Stories Our Voices is a paid summer mentoring opportunity for students in grades 7-12 interested in exploring social and environmental issues through science, technology, engineering, art, and math. For six weeks, students will explore themes from the Broadway hit musical, Once On This Island, participate in field trips, special focus workshops led by professional artists, and an end-of-program presentation. Transportation to and from the Arts Annex is available, and a stipend is provided to each mentee on the final day of camp, based on the successful completion of the program. Space is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis.
World Stage Theatre
The Imagination Express Arts Education Outreach program is designed to immerse students in the world of Play, through performing and visual arts. With a focus on process over performance, students get practical experience in the creative process of the arts where they can imagine, explore, create, and grow in a supportive environment.
