Rightfully Hers, an original play written and directed by Susan Demers, tells the story of the women's suffrage movement in the United States through speeches and accounts of the lives of great women such as Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony.

West Coast Players was founded in 1994 in Oldsmar by a group of actors interested in providing live theatre to the community. They performed one show there and in 1995 they moved to the Civic Center in Clearwater Beach, before returning to Oldsmar in 1996.
