Niles Henshaw (Keith Wiley)
Keith Wiley has been an English educator for 27 years; 18 of those in West Boylston Middle High School. His parents were local theater stars in a group called the Highlanders on the Cape during the 60-70's. Keith believes he missed his calling for the stage during high school due to other interests. But, he has written a play, Shakespeare Revisited, which has been produced once at Waltham High School in 2002. Keith also played the role of Vince Fontaine in Oakmont High School's version of Grease in 1998. Keith is working on his first novel and hopes to complete it as a graduation gift to the seniors.
Molly Henshaw (Debora Goodwill)
Deb Goodwill has been with the West Boylston School system since November 1994. She has always loved theater and comes from a family that is deep with experiences in many performing arts backgrounds. Her first official role was at the age of seven in Auntie Mame with the Middlesex Community Players. During her early teen years she did summer theater. In high school, she played the lead in “She Was Only a Farmer’s Daughter”, had an ensemble dance role in LI'l Abner, and played the role of Rosalia in West Side Story her Senior year at Chelmsford High School. She’d love to thank her family for getting her started in theater and Mrs. Huard for creating the opportunity to be a part of this amazing world again.
Phillip Chandler (Steven Sousa)
Steven Sousa is starting his second year at West Boylston Middle High School as the Physics teacher. His favorite past roles are Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Toby in Sweeney Todd, and Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof. He is thrilled to be part of this groundbreaking performance and thanks all his co-stars for taking this leap of faith. Finally, he thanks all of his fans for being really good at spinning around and keeping air moving all day.
Heavenly Delight (Rebecca Benson)
Becca is a 2004 graduate of West Boylston Middle High School and a kindergarten teacher at Major Edwards. Her past theatre experience includes many years spent in play comps and chorus while at West Boylston. She is married to a wonderful man named Tim and they had a daughter named Maddie who has also performed in West Boylston High School shows.
Methany Vixen (Karen Fotos)
Karen Fotos is a math teacher here at West Boylston Middle High School. Known as “Halk” to her former students that she loves and misses, she will be entering her 18th year teaching in our district. Karen would like to thank Mrs. Huard for giving her the opportunity to play the role she was born to play. Karen would also like to express her love and gratitude to her daughter.
Agatha Crispie (Jennifer Kunz)
Jennifer Kunz has been teaching here at West Boylston Middle High School since 1998 and is returning to the stage after a 30 year hiatus. Previously, she has played the parts of Iphigenia, in Iphigenia in Aulis, a postulant in The Sound of Music, and a dancing box of candy in Carousel.
Penelope Primm (Astrid Wendth)
Astrid Wendth has been teaching English at West Boylston for 2 years. She was peripherally involved in drama productions in high school (in Northern California) and college (in Massachusetts), and has been inspired by the performances of West Boylston students, of whom she is a big fan.
Dr. Preston (Debbie Huard)
Debbie is doing double duty as a cast member and director of the faculty play. She is the Drama Director at West Boylston and a native of Worcester. She studied musical theatre at Wagner College in New York, earning a BA in Theatre/Speech in 2000. She has performed and directed several local productions. Most recently, she was seen in Vanilla Box Productions Belles and Belles the Reunion. She is currently working on her masters in theatre education with the University of Northern Colorado. She would like to thank her family for their ongoing support and help and her fellow teachers for being a blast to work with.
Stark (Anna Dodge)
Anna is an art teacher for West Boylston Middle High School. She currently teaches all middle school art and the 3D Arts and Ceramics in high school. She says she has absolutely NO experience with theater and avoided it like the plague while she was in school. The only time she has been on stage in front of an audience is as a can-can girl at Wilderness resort in Disney (she was nominated to go up by all her Girl Scouts). She wants to thank all of the wonderful students at West Boylston. It is for you that she put herself out there.
Monica Buchanan (Becky LaRoche)
Becky LaRoche has been part of the West Boylston staff since August 2003. She is in her 19th year of being a School Counselor at West Boylston Middle High School. In addition to her work as a School Counselor, Becky loves to run, bike, read and spend time with her dogs. She was very active in theater when she was in High School performing in Guys and Dolls, Oklahoma, West Side Story, and A Christmas Carol. Becky was involved in dance for all of her school career from kindergarten through senior year. Becky would like to thank Karen Fotos for volunteering her for the part of Monica and she would also like to thank her husband and kids for supporting her in yet another endeavor.
