Watauga High School has been producing musicals since 1990!  WHS musicals include GREASE, DAMN YANKEES, FOOTLOOSE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, MARY POPPINS, SEUSSICAL, and now the juke-box musical MAMMA MIA!  

The WHS Theatre Department offers 10 acting classes and two technical theatre classes every year, ranging from Beginning Theatre to Advanced Honors Technical Theatre!  This year's Advanced Honors audition-only Pioneer Playmaker ensemble are the current state champions for high school theatre in North Carolina (for the second time in three years!).
