Dear Ventura High School Theater Fans,

We're not back all the way, but we are stepping in the right direction. 

Although we were not allowed to have a live audience, our own VHS What? Improvisation Troupe celebrated being back together performing on our beloved main stage!  The show you are about to see is a compilation of the best improvisation scenes from those two glorious nights of recorded games and activities.   

Thank you to Gage Burgi, who edited the skits into the IMovie format that I'm sure you will agree is delightful to watch.  Also, many thanks to the co-captains, Kylie Pence and Jaidyn Sellers, for their extraordinary leadership and commitment.  As many know, I rely heavily on my high school technicians and managers, and I am ever grateful to Sophia Campbell whose excellent work ethics helped pull this show together.  Additional thanks go to the entire troupe, especially my seniors, who walked by my side throughout this unusual year, and whose spirits ultimately could not be dampened as they insisted we keep laughing together!  From our fall Zoomprov show, to this recorded spring performance, I couldn't be prouder of the 2020-21 VHS What? Improv Troupe!!

Lastly, my heart has been warmed this year by the community support of our casts, crews, troupe and all the VHS theater students who continue to bloom and grow despite the challenges they have faced.
