The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong Cast

Kyle Nolan (Chris Bean / Inspector Carter)
Kyle is super stoked to be a part of VMT's production of The One Act Play That Goes Wrong. His favorite previous roles include Lumiere in Beauty and The Beast as well as Pat Gilbert in State Fair - both were at Ellensburg High School. When he's not on stage, Kyle fills the void of theatre by playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and family, and has recently started running games as a professional Dungeon Master. He wants to thank his friends and family for their constant love and support, and for pushing him to take part in such amazing productions.
Riley Newman (Robert Grove / Thomas Colleymore)
Riley has a BFA in Performance from CWU. He has a wide variety of theatre credits including Mary Poppins, The 25th Annual..., Fiddler on the Roof, Assassins, Peter and the Star Catcher, The Little Mermaid.
Ellen Hanson (Dennis (Dah-Niece) Tyde / Perkins)
Ellen's world is a stage - just ask her long-suffering coworkers and family members, who regularly endure spontaneous outbreaks of the "accent of the day" and mini operettas based on any given topic. They are all in agreement that it is high time she gets back on stage. With a background in community theatre, she has performed as a villager in Fiddler on the Roof and Julia in Said the Spider to the Spy, as well as impersonating Celine Dion. Ellen has enjoyed watching Valley Musical Theatre productions from the audience and is looking forward to the opportunity to join the fun on stage.
Jared Carter (Jonathan Harris / Charles Haversham)
Jared is a teacher by choice and by trade. He loves working with students who do not like or understand math and work with them until they do. He has been involved in theater since he was about 11 years old. Jared's father got into theater and seeing him up on stage got Jared interested in going up on stage himself. Since then he has been involved in almost every aspect in theater--on stage, working back stage, working on lights and spotlights, sound, and general helping out. Jared loves to participate in a show that people will watch and enter a different world and leave the outside world away for a while.
Nathaniel Arango (Max Bennett / Cecil Haversham)
Nathaniel entered the world of on-stage theatre with EHS's production of Legally Blonde in March of 2022. He was cast as Emmett Forrest, the romantic lead. This past summer he was also cast as Eddie in VMT's Mamma Mia, a comic relief supporting character. Apart from this, Nathaniel has also played guitar in the pit orchestra for several EHS and VMT productions, and also sings, plays guitar, and writes music in his own band, Wavesons, and frequently play live shows.
Teresa Bicchieri (Sandra Wilkinson / Florence Colleymore)
An Ellensburg native, Teresa spent her childhood on stage performing in the VMT summer musicals. She made her acting debut as Gretl Von Trapp in The Sound of Music but her favorite character she has played was the role of Lina Lamont in Singin' in the Rain. When she's not reading books with her two year-old daughter, Teresa's creativity is poured into her part-time wedding photography business!
Grace Englehart (Annie Twilloil / the Stage Manager)
A proud CWU Theatre alumni, theatre nerd, and English teacher, Grace Englehart can't resist the beckoning of the theatre! Last seen in CWU Theatre's Red Curtain Broadway Revue, some of her favorite roles in her 11 years of theatre include Tinkerbell in Wendy and Peter Pan, Jesse in "Distracted", Tootie Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis, and Ballet Ensemble in Phantom of the Opera. When she isn't teaching, singing, or dancing, she loves spending time with her husband Turner and other family and friends. Fun Fact: She has dabbled in character entertainment, being good friends with Captain Marvel and Tinkerbell!
Marius Vandenberg (Trevor Watson / the Play's Lighting & Sound Operator)
A former cross country athlete, Marius had to make a decision between running and auditioning for a show. He chose the show and has been involved with theatre ever since. Also a big fan of Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and pretty much anything that he can nerd out on. He has been in multiple productions including Harry in Imaginary Harry, Adam in Lockdown, Radio Hitchock, an open radio theatre with multiple roles. Having taken a break from theatre for the last five years, he's a bit nervous and eager about getting back involved, but looking forward to it.
