Little Shop of Horrors Cast

Shaun Miranda (Seymour Krelborn)
Shaun Miranda is a 16 year old that will be playing Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors. Shaun has done many shows in the past including playing Charlie Brown in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown,. and others like the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Shaun even played a King!. Shaun has been involved in theater for 5 years. He is now a sophomore in Horticulture and Landscaping.
Emily Mello (Audrey)
Emily is the President of the drama club, as well as a Senior. She is very sad to leave her fellow drama family. With this being her last performance at Upper Cape Tech, she’s excited to be playing Audrey in Little Shop of Horror. She was previously the Maitre’d in Cafe Murder! A few other productions she was in through UCT were You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and The Real Inspector Hound. She has been in drama productions even since she was five years old. That being said she’ll be continuing drama once she leaves high school. She is in the Veterinary Science program here at UCT, the first graduating class in fact! As for shoutouts Emily would like to thank Vinicus for helping her with her lines(even learning songs to sing with her), as well as Sean who has been there with her and for her, these past two years, Mr. G and Katie because you guys have helped her grow so much with her acting and sining abilities, and last but not least, Emily’s parents, who are there with her through thick and thin.
Marcus Burke-Fernandes (Mr. Mushnik)
Marcus is a Junior that is currently in the Engineering Technology program. Marcus is playing the role of Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors. The only other show that Marcus previously acted in is the showing of Cafe Murder at Upper Cape Tech. Marcus has only been participating in theater for about 4 months now, but has always had a passion for doing things specific to theater on social media, and has been doing so for the past 5+ years. Marcus would like to thank all those people that he had met online while doing this activity with him, those people will not know they have contributed to a hobby Marcus enjoys a lot, but should be thanked nonetheless. Marcus would also like to thank his parents forparents, for their encouragement while taking part in Drama.
Bea Mahler (Crystal)
Bea Mahler is a junior in the culinary arts program at Upper Cape Tech. They are playing Crystal in the show Little Shop of Horrors. This is their first year doing drama club. They are looking forward to doing more productions in the years to come. Bea would like to shout out Molly Petty the stage manager and their father for pushing them to join drama.
Finley Andrade (Ronette)
Finley Andrade is a sophomore at UCT in the Auto Collision Repair shop. Finley is playing Ronnete, a doo-op girl. It is their second year in the Canal Side Players and third production ever. In 6th grade, they played Witch 3 (which is the superior witch) in the Macbeth play, and Peppermint Patty in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown Freshman year. Finley would like to thank her mom and dad for creating Finley, because Finley would not exist without them. Finley would also like to thank their family (which includes mom’s boyfriend, Sully) for being a pretty radical family. Thanks family! Finley would also like to thank all others who have come to see this play because we worked very hard on it. :) Enjoy the Little Shop Of Horrors!!!!!!!!
Lola Minahan (Chiffon)
Lola Minahan is playing Chiffon in the production of Little Shop of Horrors. Previously, she has been in Lawrence Jr. High School's production of Beauty and the Beast as the feather duster Babette. Lola has been involved with theater for 7 years and one year exclusively at Upper Cape Tech. Lola is a Culinary Freshman.She would like to thank the culinary department as a whole for helping her on her journey to success, Mr. Genereau, Katie, and Tiffany for being a huge help in the production and for encouraging her to have more confidence. The stage Manager Molly, who has always supported her in everything she does, and her dance teacher Courtney Hingston, who put her on the stage in the first place.
Abby Morrison (Orin Scrivello D.D.S.)
Abby Morrison is a Junior in Environmental Science and Technology and is so excited to be a part of this production! She has been involved in drama clubs since middle school. She was a part of the ensemble in Peter Pan and a part of Stage Crew in Beauty and The Beast. At Upper Cape Tech, she played The Little Red Headed Girl in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; and in Little Shop of Horrors, she plays Orin Scrivello.
Blake Gagne (Voice of Audrey II)
Blake has been in the acting career for 3 years. Blake’s first play was as a supporting role in “Hound of the Baskervilles”. The next year Blake played Squire Trelawney in “Treasure Island”. The show was canceled due to Covid. This year Blake has been in the production of Café Murder. He has also gotten the role as the voice of Audrey II and Wino #1. Blake would like to thank is old drama teacher Mrs. DellaCioppa for getting him into theater. He would also like to shout out his parents for being supportive of him in these roles. Blake also loves cabbages.
Ari Pearson (Audrey II: The Plant)
Ari Pearson is a cross country runner and lacrosse player, who also has a passion for theatre. Ari played the waiter in the Canalside Player's dinner theatre production of Cafe Murder. Ari is tackling the physically demanding role of being the plant. Since beginning the process of playing Audrey II, Ari has gained a taste for blood, world domination, and cabbages. Bon Appetit!
Lorelei Frye (Interviewer/ Mrs. Luce)
Lorelei is very excited to be a part of this production. This is her first year in theatre at UCT, and she is happy to be a part of the show. She is a freshman in the Cosmetology shop. Earlier this year, she played the character of Marjorie in the drama club’s production of Cafe Murder, which was her first experience with theatre. During Little Shop of Horrors, she will be playing multiple ensemble roles. She would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support, as well as everyone involved in the production for their hard work to make sure the show can go on.
Autumn Sicina (Bernstein/ Customer)
Autumn Sicina is a Senior in Veterinary Science. Autumn has been in the drama club at UCT for about 4 years now. Their roles in Little Shop of Horrors are the customer, Bernstein, Patrick Martin, and the Seymour understudy. Previous roles include, Marcie in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Autumn is very thrilled to be part of this production, although it is their final year at UCT. They look forward to continuing to pursue drama after they leave. Autumn would like to thank their parents for supporting their love for drama for all these years, and their fellow cast and crew members for being their closest friends throughout the year.
Nevaeh Fernandes (Skip Snip/ The Voice Not Unlike God)
Nevaeh Fernandes is a Sophomore in Culinary Arts at UCT. As of this year she is a new member of the Canalside Players, yet was in the drama club at Wareham Middle School for a little while in 7th grade. She previously played Valerie in Cafe Murder, which was her first ever show. In Little Shop of Horrors, she plays A Voice Not Unlike God’s and Skip Snip. She once saw Little Shop of Horrors at the Wareham High School and absolutely loved it, so she’s excited to be a part of the production. Nevaeh loves musicals, her favorite being Hamilton which she’s seen before along with other musicals, and is looking forward to being in more plays in the future.
