Iris (Marissa Taylor Scott)
Marisa Taylor Scott is a San Diego native actress and is thrilled to be part of brilliant Iris & the Axe! Some of her favorite credits include: The Glass Menagerie (Laura, Broadway Vista), Big Love (Pittsburgh Playhouse), PUFFS (West Coast Premiere, The Eastern), and HALL PASS (Blindspot Collective, La Jolla Playhouse WOW Festival). Ivy (Jamie Boyd)
Jamie Boyd is a 2020 theatre graduate of San Diego State University and is currently stage managing at The Coronado Playhouse for their production of The World Goes Round. Jamie is honored that Dr. Katie Turner has included her in her debut as a playwright and has allowed her to voice act for the first time! She adores the collaborative process of mounting theatre as a performer and a stage manager and loves telling people's stories, spreading important messages, and contributing to positivity and curiosity in the world through her art. Charles/Master Cypress (Kaivan Mohsenzadeh)
Kaivan is a recent Theatre Performance graduate from SDSU and has spent several years working in community theaters around San Diego as both an actor, singer and designer! He also masquerades as a Ghost Host tour guide around San Diego and has a deep affinity for spiritual practices and ancient ritualism!

Crenshaw (Prosper Phongsaiphonh)
Prosper Phongsaiphonh is a recent graduate from SDSU and holds a B.A.A.S. in Theatre Arts. He is very excited to be a part this production with Turnkey Theatre and take on the role of Crenshaw! He has been involved in all aspects of theatre including acting, stage managing, directing, prop making, set building, etc. He has trained under Randy Reinholz, Jesca Prudencio, Adrian Alita, Peter Cirino, and Tim Powell at SDSU and with Debra Hammond at Sierra College. A video game, cartoon, anime enthusiast and voice-over artist, he hopes that his voice will entertain the masses.
Narrator (Katie B. Turner, PhD)
Katie is a long-time theatre artist and educator. Most recently she has had the honor of being the founding Artistic Director of Turnkey Theatre, and is thrilled to be such a big part of their third show. Katie is also a lecturer in Theatre at San Diego State University, where she teaches history, literature, and performance courses in the School of Theatre, Television, and FIlm. She is a proud student in the Meisner-Chekhov Integrated Training Program, which she will complete this year. She would like to thank the cast and crew, and all of Turnkey's fabulous supporters.
