Jana Petersdorf has been directing plays and musicals at TW for 31 years. With a few years left until retirement, she plans to enjoy directing some of her favorite musicals. She wants to thank her family for supporting her through late nights and for accepting her "artistic" personality. She would also like to thank the district, her principal, and the THSPA Boosters for their continued support of Educational Theatre.

Elyse Bates has 15 years of dance training as well as several years expereince and training in acting. For the past three years she has choreographed productions for Encore Theatre, Mission Oak, and now Tulare Western. She's loved her time working with so many great students and sis excited for your to see them in Once Upon a Mattress.

Cynthia grew up in Tulare and was active in choir and drama graduating from TUHS. She obtained her BA from Warner Pacific University in Portland OR then earned her MA in vocal performance from CSUF. Cyndi spent the first part of her career trying to perform plus teach; she found teaching won out and decided to perform locally while teaching. She has performed for Portland Opera, Bear Valley Opera, Opera Fresno, Good Company Players and many other community theatre venues while teaching choral music for Clovis and Fresno Unified School Districts and at CUSF as an adjunct professor. She has appeared in many Fresno area productions having last appeared as Golde in “Fiddler on the Roof” at Good Company Players in Fresno. Cyndi is retired from public school teaching but maintains a private vocal studio here in Tulare where she has moved recently to care for her Mom.
