Hal (Jonathan Watkins)
Jonathan Watkins (Hal) - was last seen treading the boards back in 2009, as he was rehearsing for Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center, while performing in the Ford’s Theatre production of The Heavens Are Hung in Black. Also, Trumbo at Rep Stage; The Winter’s Tale at Baltimore Shakespeare; Treasure Island at Roundhouse Theatre; Huck Finn’s Story at Imagination Stage; Tiny Alice and Antony & Cleopatra at Washington Shakespeare (Now Avant Bard). On-camera credits include The Wire, Something The Lord Made, three different episodes of America’s Most Wanted, and the new Airport 77’s music video, Losers Win, also starring the talented Jen Rabbitt Ring . Recently, in the midst of sporadic on-camera acting and voice-over, he has been spending a lot of his time as a singer/songwriter and a brewer of that delicious malty beverage, beer. Jonathan dedicates this performance to his three beautiful children.
Val (Cathy Diane Tomlin)
CATHY DIANE TOMLIN (Val). Cathy is excited to work with Transformation Theatre again after appearing in their Spring 2021 virtual reading of Runtime Error. As a member of The Group Repertory Theatre (GRT) in Los Angeles, she appeared in their 2021 in-person productions of Motel 66 – a one-act festival (Last Exit for Lodging), Birthday Club, and Christmastime Origins. Other theater credits include: As You Like It (The Vagrancy - Los Angeles), Loose Knit (GRT), A Streetcar Named Desire (GRT), Lizzy (Ensemble Studio Theatre - Los Angeles), Patterns (Theatre 40 - Los Angeles); TV credits include: “Nightmare Best Friend” (Lifetime), “Twin Betrayal” (Lifetime), “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (The CW), “Adam Ruins Everything” (TruTV), “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC-TV); Film credits include: “Road Dogs” (LA Women’s Int’l Film Festival), “Red Wing” (opposite Frances Fisher), “Michael Clayton” (opposite George Clooney). Hallie (Krysten Cummings)
Krysten Cummings is a native of New Jersey, but has made her home in London for over 20 years. She is an accomplished singer/songwriter and a seasoned musical theatre performer who has appeared in shows around the world. Credits include Mama I Want To Sing, Company, The Fix, Jesus Christ Superstar (both in London’s West End and the UK/European/Australian Tours as ‘Mary Magdalene’). Most notably, Ms. Cummings originated the role of ‘Mimi Marquez’ in the Toronto and London West End productions of the groundbreaking musical Rent, before landing the part on Broadway. Her portrayal earned her nominations for The Dora Mavor Moore and the Laurence Olivier Award for ‘Best Actress in a Musical’. Ms. Cummings joined Team UK Eurovision 2013 as a backing vocalist and on keys for Bonnie Tyler. Subsequently, she joined team Azerbaijan in 2015. Ms. Cummings has collaborated with a plethora of DJ’s and producers and her vocals can heard in clubs throughout the globe.She is also a founding member of supergroup OFFWORLD based out of the U.K. On screen, Krysten starred as ‘Detective Rios’ in the sequel to the cult horror hit The Descent 2. Ms. Cummings starred in the European Premier of Working at The Southwark Playhouse in London which featured songs from esteemed composers such as Stephen Schwartz and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Later that year, she was delighted to sing on the original London cast album recorded at Abbey Road studios. In 2018, she was able to broaden her horizons by becoming a scenic painter and also appearing as ‘Stepmother’ in Into The Woods at The Ritz Theatre in New Jersey. In 2019, her one-woman show (which premiered at the Ritz theatre in New Jersey) made its European debut at The Pheasantry in Chelsea, London. Flight Risk is a hilarious romp throughout her career and features a cornucopia of genres including musical theatre, pop rock and original songs. Her newest adventure as co writer and director is The Bisley Boy , a musical fantasy that will premiere later this year.
Louis Davidson (Kevin Rowell)
Kevin Rowell has had several lead and supporting roles in Off and Off Off Broadway theater. These include A Sketch Of New York, Life Is Short(Cherish Every Moment), and Satire Of New York. He has also done reenactment television. -DeadlyDevotion, Deceived, Also he has appeared in independent films including Jamie Marks Is Dead.
Reggie (LJ Moses)
L.J Moses (REGGIE) is happy to be making his Transformation Theatre debut where he will play the role of Reggie. His regional credits include Young Man in 50 Ways directed by Samir Bitar & Yana Landowne, Jordan in That Part is True directed by Madeline Farrington, and Skippy in Lakeboat directed by the late Raoul Anderson. Elsewhere, L.J has been seen as Joseph Asagai in A Raisin in the Sun and Angie the Ox in Guys and Dolls. L.J has also worked as an Assistant Stage Manager at Metro Stage (Painted Rocks at Revolver Creek). L.J also writes screenplays (Drama, Romance, & Comedy) and is working on getting his first feature film produced.
Moses (Jonathan Blake Flemings)
Jonathan Blake Flemings joins us from Los Angeles, CA! Recent credits: A Funny Thing... Forum at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre, The Scottsboro Boys at The REP, A Chorus Line at Olney Theatre and The Welk Theatre, Dreamgirls with Pittsburgh Musical Theater, Hairspray at Fingerlakes Musical Theatre Festival, CATS at Cortland Repertory Theatre, West Side Story and others at the Norris Theatre.
