The Savannah Sipping Society Cast

Sauni Rinehart (Randa Covington)
Sauni is happy to be back on the TKD stage! She last appeared in 2019’s 45 Seconds from Broadway. In her 12+ years of community theater (both in Southern California and the Knoxville area), she’s been privileged to play some memorable characters, including Gloria in Grace and Glorie, Rosemary in Outside Mullingar (opposite her wonderful husband, Russ), Marmee in Little Women, and Maudie in To Kill a Mockingbird. Sauni’s passion for theater extends to her position as drama ministry director at her church. In between shows, Sauni finds time to hang out with great friends and enjoy adventures with Russ. Enjoy the show!
Cheri Compton (Dot Haigler)
As a former President and Board Member of Theatre Knoxville, Cheri is thrilled to be on stage for the first time at the new home of TKD. Cheri has been performing in Knoxville theatres for years and some favorite roles are Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, Noleta in Sordid Lives, and M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias. Cheri was last seen in Free Spirit Theatre's production of Love, Loss and What I Wore, another favorite. In her "real" life, Cheri is Director of Marketing for the Clayton Center for the Arts. Thanks to all who support live theatre. We couldn't do it without you!!
Freddi Ruth-Pope (Marlafaye Mosley)
Freddi is thrilled to return to Theatre Knoxville Downtown – it’s been a minute! In addition to TKD, she has performed with the Tennessee Stage Company, Tellico Community Playhouse, and Free Spirit Theatre. “Savannah” marks Freddi’s fourth Jones Hope Wooten romp, and she is especially grateful to be having this much fun with an entire company of former castmates. She sends special love and thanks to Jill for the opportunity, to her eclectic, beloved universe of friends who always show up, and to her shiny new husband, RL, for every little thing.
Judie Douglas (Jinx Jenkins)
Judie is thrilled to be performing in another Jones, Hope & Wooten production. This marks her 9th show on the Theatre Knoxville stage. She was last seen in Four Old Broads at TKD and The Trip to Bountiful at Tellico Village Playhouse. Her acting credits also include television, film, various commercial and print work. Judie lives in Knoxville and is currently employed at LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Knoxville Campus. X’s and O’s to hubby, Brad for his encouragement. She hopes this show makes you laugh and appreciate the true friends in life!
Kelley Gray (Cordelia Covington/Dresser)
Kelley is an actor and stage manager from Savannah, GA and has thoroughly enjoyed working on this show. She thanks you all for supporting local theatre.
