The Play that Goes Wrong Cast

Kaden is very excited to be apart of the Magic Valley Repertory Theater. “The play that goes wrong” will be his 41st production. He is a military brat and have spent my life living overseas in Germany and Italy primarily. Theater has been apart of his life for as long as he can remember. Kaden values his ability as an actor and hopes you enjoy his performance.

I'm so happy to be working with Magic Valley Repertory Theater again! I encourage anyone who is interested in being in a production to get in touch with them, or just show up for an audition! No experience required. They are always kind and welcoming. We hope you enjoy the show as much as we have enjoyed getting it ready for you! Yes, some injuries occurred, and yes, it is hard to not laugh. -Kayla's previous roles include The Ghost of Christmas Present, and The Ghost of Christmas Past (A Christmas Carol, 2018, 2015), a Silly Girl (Beauty and the Beast), and ensemble in Chicago, all with Magic Valley Repertory Theater.

Chris is excited to be part of his first Magic Valley Repertory Theatre production. This is his seventh production with his amazing son (Kaden), twice playing father and son. This is his 13th with his beautiful wife (Karin Asselstine), never playing her husband. Chris is thrilled to have designed and built the set for The Play That Goes Wrong. He prays that it doesn't fall apart.

This bio informs you about the many roles I have been involved with like Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Major General Stanley in The Pirates of Penzance, and Rod in Avenue Q to name a few. Acting is one of the things in my life that has given me a sense of purpose and I thank everyone I have ever met for the chances they have given me. I have been with MVRT since September 2017 and I can say without a doubt that I have enjoyed every moment and I look forward to many more years.

Cassandra is excited to be performing in her third Magic Valley Repertory Theatre production! She recently moved to Twin Falls and has enjoyed becoming part of the local theatre community during her first show The Bridges of Madison County and her second show A Midsummer Night's Dream, both earlier this year. She is grateful for the opportunity to perform with MVRT again, as well as the unwavering support of her two dogs and her husband, Sam.

Clint was last seen on the Orpheum Theatre stage as Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Other theatre credits include Elf the Musical, Evil Dead the Musical, Once Upon a Mattress, and Shrek the Musical. He would like to thank the Orpheum staff for the opportunity to do what he loves on a regular basis, whether it be acting or technical theatre. Enjoy the show!

Any chance for physical comedy, Alexandra is there. Trained in falling-without-hurting (or what she'll call clowning), The Play That Goes Wrong is a wonderful opportunity to use her body and teach others to not get bruised up. Alexandra has been involved with MVRT since 2019's The Producers, and they haven't been able to get rid of her since. Also, she's a lumberjack and she's okay.

Karin has performed across Canada, the western United States, France, Germany, and Mexico. She has been engaged as a solo performer, collaborator, music director, director, stage manager, and many other areas in various productions in Opera, Musical theatre, Theatre, and chamber performances. She is delighted that The Play That Goes Wrong is her first production with the Magic Valley Repertory Theatre and that she gets to do it with her son and husband. She hopes the audience loves this show as much as she does.

Troy has been in community theatre for his whole life. He has always loved to be in front of an audience and loves to hear the audience applaud and laugh. Troy has been in Elf the Musical, Hello Dolly, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Sound of Music, and others. He looks forward to working with the Magic Valley Repertory Theatre for a long time to come.

Anna is a full time high school student and does a lot of theater. She has been in nine shows including being a ballet dancer in Phantom of the Opera and Marie in Passion Bearer. Anna has enjoyed every show she has done and is excited to show off all her hard work. She is also excited to help direct Guys and Doll this fall and less excited that she can not be in Guys and Dolls for that same reason (thanks Dad). She also does ballet and has recently found a love for designing choreography. If you buy her popcorn she will love you forever.
