The classic Dickensian tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge and his journey of self discovery comes to the Orpheum Theatre in the form of Larry and Stephanie Johnson's adaptation of “A Christmas Carol.” The story follows both Scrooge and Marley as they journey with the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future in the hopes of redeeming Ebeneezer Scrooge before his time on this earth ends. This lovingly crafted adaptation is suitable for the whole family and perfect for the spirit of the holidays.

Magic Valley Repertory Theatre is Idaho's busiest theatrical organization in the Magic Valley and among the busiest in Idaho. The Orpheum Theatre's live-in theatre group has taken on a wide variety of shows since it's inception in 2015; from Cabaret to the Little Mermaid and so much more. Magic Valley Repertory Theatre founded the Local Playwright Series, which gives a vehicle to local stage writers to premier their works before a live audience. Additionally, “The Rep” also produces the 24-Hour Theatre Project twice a year, which brings 15 people together to create three original shows in 24 hours.
