Cinderella (Mariela Flor Olivo)
Mariela is thrilled to be reprising this role and show so dear to her heart! She was last seen on the Heights Players' stage in Snow White And The Battle For Pittsburgh, and has enjoyed many children's theater productions with the fine crew you see on screen with her. Hailing originally from SA, TX, she's resided happily in Brooklyn, NY for 8 years now, pursuing theatre and music as passionately as she did at 4 years old, enjoying countless productions, roles and regional work. Love and endless thanks to family and friends, mentors, J. Scot Cahoon, Uncle Frank and God always. Special thanks to Hilary and Kevin for the magic and absolutely everything.
Laschwinda (Kaylie DeLauri)
Kaylie is over the moon to be back in the theater with Theater For Children and Good Idea Bears! You may recognize her from Jack And The Beanstalk, Snow White And The Battle For Pittsburgh, The Mad Hatter's Tea Party, or several other shows with Good Idea Bears. After a tough year, there's no one else she'd rather be back in the theater with than these fine folks!
Llewella (Alyson Ryan)
Alyson is overjoyed to be performing in her 15th production with this incredible team! Favorite past credits include Rumpelstiltskin (Rumpelstiltskin), Snow White And The Battle For Pittsburgh (Willy B.), Jack And The Beanstalk (Jill), and The Mad Hatter's Tea Party (Tweedle Dee). Alyson is a Kindergarten teacher at PS 32 and hopes to bring smiles to all her students (both past and present) who may be tuning in to this performance! Alyson dedicates this performance to her husband, Michael and their one year old daughter, Charlie Rayne. May you always believe in magic, little one.
Evil Stepmother (Michelle Maccarone)
Michelle has been confusing and terrifying children with Theater For Children and Good Idea Bears for centuries. Favorites include: Mirror in Snow White And The Battle For Pittsburgh, Caterpillar in The Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and Magistrate in Rumpelstiltskin.
Mouse (Matthew Martin)
Matthew last appeared on this stage 28 years ago in lederhosen, having something to do with a goat. Now he returns in a tail, playing. amouse. He hopes to next be seen playing his dream role in Gypsy, The Little Lamb. In addition to anthropomorphizing, he is a recently semi-sort-of-published composer/lyricist/playwright whose songs have been heard on this stage in A Christmas Carol, as well as Theater for Children's productions of Peter Pan and Little Red Riding Hood, both with librettos by his Bear-Bestie, Dina.
Bird/Graphic Design (Amanda Enriquez)
Amanda is so excited to flap her wings again with Theater For Children and Good Idea Bears, having last been seen in The Great Christmas Tree as Turtle Dove last year! Amanda is the Graphics and Social Media Chair at The Heights Players and has designed the posters for the last 2 seasons. Thanks to Hilary and Kevin for giving her a chance to perform again! TWEET! TWEET!
Bear/Costume Design (Dina Grilli)
Dina is so thrilled to be making her triumphant return to theater (and real life) in a role that she so cherished in the before times. Previously, she has appeared in, costumed, written and directed many Theater for Children productions for The Heights Players (and some productions for grown ups, too!). Dina is a proud NYC public school teacher. She holds a degree from Emerson College in Theater Education, with an emphasis in Bear Studies. This performance is dedicated to her nephew, Julian, who has been instrumental in sharpening her rusty skills as an entertainer for young audiences.
Fairy Godmother (Felisha Heng)
Felisha returns to Theater for Children with the Good Idea Bears family after last being seen as Frank the Goose in Jack And The Beanstalk right before the shutdown. She recently co-founded a virtual platform and Drama Club for young kids who perform weekly and fill her days with smiles! Follow them @hellolittlebuddies - Thanks to Hilary and Kevin for giving her a chance to earn her Godmother wings and The Heights Players for providing a safe space to return to the stage with her favorite friends again!
Patti LuPonyHair (Danielle Ferretti)
Danielle is so full of joy to be performing again! Favorite roles include Sally Bowles, Velma Kelly, Evil Queen, Dorothy Gale, Mayzie LaBird, Poopsie and Lisa/Sophie Sheridan (u.s.) in the original Las Vegas company of Mamma Mia! She is also a freelance choreographer and an Assistant Treasurer at Lyceum Theater. Thank you Hilary and Kevin for this opportunity and love always to her all time favorite production, Dylan!
Twinklemeir (Brian Edward Levario)
Brian is excited you are joining them in this fairy magical world. You may recognize their particular brand of oddness from Mad Hatter's Tea Party and their super energy from Jack And The Beanstalk, Beanman's Revenge. They hope you enjoy this trip with Cincerella and the gang, and to tell you know that even if you are at home watching to cast a little spell and to get up and boogie! www.brianlevario.com Instagram: @brianlevario
