Now his ex-graduate student, Hal, is going through Robert’s papers and has discovers a paradigm-shifting proof about prime numbers. Questions arise as to the author of this proof. The play explores Catherine's fear of following in her father's footsteps as well as being recognized for her own mathematical ability.
