Ed Bernard (Harnell Chesterton)
Ed Bernard is appearing in his second Dinner Mystery with Cannon Theatre at the Colonial Inn, where his wife worked as a chambermaid in high school. He most recently appeared in Concord Players’ Shakespeare on the Library Lawn production of Julius Caesar, his sixth summer Shakespeare (along with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, Twelfth Night, A Comedy of Errors, and Much Ado About Nothing. Other Cannon Theatre productions include Murdered to Death, Arsenic and Old Lace and Blithe Spirit. Ed has written and directed 3 one-act plays. He is a freelance writer and creative director who lives and works in Concord.

Laurel is pleased to play her first dual role in a production! She has held a variety of positions in other local companies including Set Designer, Producer, Graphic Designer, Set Dresser, and Paint Chief. Some of her favorite theatrical roles include The Mute (The Fantasticks), Ermengarde (The Matchmaker), Frieda (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Ada (Princess Ida), Fleta (Iolanthe), and the title role in Mary Rose. In her copious spare time Laurel teaches inquisitive kindergartners in Framingham. She sends her love to Dan, Linnea, Davin, and all the members of her loving, supportive theater “family.”
Meredith Jones (Lois Jacobsen and Savannah and Man 1)
Following a 20-year hiatus, Meredith returned to the theater in 2016 and is having a wonderful time! Recent shows include Oliver! and The Little Mermaid with River’s Edge Players, Seussical with Open Door Theater, Fiddler on the Roof with Theatre III, and Iolanthe and Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure with The Sudbury Savoyards. Other favorite acting, directing, and choreography projects include Peter Pan, Anything Goes, Once Upon a Mattress, and The Wizard of Oz. When not on stage, Meredith loves to spend time with her family and their numerous pets.

Paul is excited to be in his first Cannon Theatre production. He has acted a small amount in school plays but has not done any performances since then. He is thrilled to get to partake again. In his spare time he enjoys rock climbing, skiing and cooking. He also works as a scientist at Pfizer. Paul would like to thank his roommates, the director and the cast of the play for their support.
