David Sarnoff (Sam Petricone)
Sam is making his initial appearance with Teaneck New Theatre. Previous productions he’s been in are Frost/Nixon, 12 Angry Men, Of Mice and Men, and Born Yesterday, just to name a few. Sam is excited to be working with John and Donna Fraissinet for the first time.
Philo T. Farnsworth (Joey Nasta)
Joey is an actor and director, and thrilled to be onstage with TNT. Favorite credits: Sweeney Todd (Anthony); Clark Gable Slept Here (Travis); As You Like It (Phebe); Orlando (Archduchess). Thanks to John for trusting him with the boy genius. Joey has a BA in Acting from Fordham.
Vladimir Zworykin/Mr. Gardner (Fred Alvaro)
Fred is thrilled to return to live performance as a part of this amazing production. Prior credits include Pseudolus in Forum, Joseph in Dreamcoat, Dr. Seward in Dracula, Farquaad in Shrek and countless others. Love to Amanj, Droovy, MamaBelle, Louvris, Doots and Chubalub!
Douglas Fairbanks/Wachtel (Arthur Carlson)
Arthur is an Emmy-winning former NYC stand-up comic who recently appeared in Nutley Little Theater's Perfect Arrangement and WHATCO's Almost, Maine. Arthur is thankful to be a part of this truly unique production.
Harbord/Schenk (Jonathan Deck)
Jon is new to Teaneck New Theatre. He has appeared previously at Players Guild of Leonia as Herr Schultz in Cabaret, Benny Longstreet in Guys & Dolls, Mr. Welch in Damn Yankees, Homer in Mornings at Seven and Ludie in A Trip to Bountiful. He has also appeared with Bergen County Players in Rumors and Sordid Lives. Jon thanks the cast, the crew, and his family.
Agnes Farnsworth (Laura DiCerto)
Laura: Favorite roles include Marci in Teaneck New Theatre’s Almost, Maine; Margie in Loose Knit (NYC, In the Light Theatre Co); Donna in Swimming in the Shallows (In the Light); Trudie in Comic Potential (Hudson Theatre Ensemble); and Dorothy in Stepping Out (HTE). Laura gives special thanks to husband Peter for all his support
Young Sarnoff/Lennox/Mary Pickford (Marisa Dolkart)
Marisa is making her debut with Teaneck New Theater. She has been seen onstage with Bergen County Players and The Players Guild of Leonia, as well as stage managed and done costume design work. She is an active member of several community theaters and projects across North Jersey, and has done various projects with the Living Room Collective via zoom during the Pandemic
Justin Tolman (Ian Evans)
Ian majored in Theater at the University of Connecticut. He then went on to work professionally in the Hartford area with roles at the Hartford Stage Co. and Company One in addition to local commercials and the occasional modeling job. He is happy to be in his first role with TNT and looks forward to many more.
Mina Edison/Mrs. Gardner (Donna Fraissinet)
Donna has also appeared in Almost, Maine; Yes, Virginia; Motherhood Out Loud; Three Viewings; The Glass Menagerie, and Don’t Drink the Water
Leslie Gorrell (Ann Grippo)
Ann is getting a kick out of witnessing John put this amazing, crazy, true story together on the stage. This is her first time being an investor, after playing a Hollywood fixer, a mother, a governess, a homeless woman, etc. Let's all break legs as we tell this amazing piece of history.!
William Crocker (Eddie Honan)
Eddie: Favorite credits include The Producers, South Pacific, Spelling Bee, Urinetown, Head Over Heels, and The Drowsy Chaperone. Will someone make him Pseudolus in Forum? Skippy thanks you!
Young Farnsworth (Nathan Kossoy)
Nathan is a 7th grader from Fair Lawn and is very excited to be in his first production with Teaneck New Theatre. His past favorite shows include 13 the Musical, Legally Blonde Jr, Shrek, Matilda, and Seussical Jr. Thanks to the John and everyone for this great opportunity!
Cliff Gardner (Brian Laub)
Brian is really excited to be a part of this production. Previously, he has done plays with PGL: Amadeus, Guys & Dolls, Importance of Being Earnest, Pajama Game, Our Town and singing Frank Sinatra’s “New York, NY,” as well as improv. Brian would like to thank TNT for the opportunity to work with this awesome cast.
Betty/Doctor 2 (Victoria Lopez)
was last seen as Jen from LastChanceforRomance.com Dinner Theatre for the Theatre League of Clifton back in February 2020. She has waited a long two years to audition for The Farnsworth Invention and is excited to be a part of this wonderful cast and crew. Break legs!
Lizette Sarnoff (Rebecca Lopkin)
Rebecca is thrilled to be back with TNT after a long hiatus. She was last seen as Tiffany Richards in Mary, Mary and Melissa Gardner in Love Letters with TNT and as Boo Levy in The Last Night of Ballyhoo with Open Tent Theater in NYC. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Envision Theater, an educational theater company serving students in NJ, NY and PA. She thanks her family for their love and support!
Pem Farnsworth (Grace Lyttle)
Grace is making her premier appearance with Teaneck New Theatre. Grace has worked both frontstage and backstage in numerous performances in around New Jersey. She wants to thank everyone for their amazing work and performance.
George Everson (Richard Pearson)
Rich is happy to make his TNT debut. He started performing in the online Living Room Theater Collective in 2020, made his virtual debut in the Maplewood Strollers' children's show We're Zoomed!, and his stage debut in a reading of Our Lady of 121st Street at Nutley Little Theater. In “real life” he’s an earth science teacher, a math & chemistry tutor, hiker, and a cross-stitcher.
Gifford/Lippincott (Jack Pignatello)
Jack is happy to be appearing in The Farnsworth Invention, which answers the age-old question: “Who invented television anyhow?” Previously, Jack has appeared as Scrooge in Seussified Christmas Carol at Studio Players in Montclair, Mr. Potter in It’s a Wonderful Life at Brundage Park Playhouse and Marvin Michaels in California Suite at TLC in Clifton. To paraphrase John Lennon, “Imagine there’s no television.”
Harlan Honn/Simms (Alexis Saarela)
Alexis is thrilled to make her TNT debut. She has been part of shows at WHATCo (Kearny) and Studio Playhouse (Montclair), and has studied, taught, and performed improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade, The PIT, and Montclair Improv Comedy. She is grateful to her wonderful family, including her two daughters who allow her to miss bedtime for rehearsals
Stan  (Mike Semon)
Michael is excited to be making his first public theater appearance. His favorite credits are Kyle the UPS guy and Grandmaster Chad (Legally Blonde). He's currently majoring in Theater Studies at Montclair State University.

Ashley is working with TBT for the first time and is excited to be a part of this show. She has previously performed in Rhino Theater’s production of Wait Until Dark. She dedicates her performance to her uncle, who loved history and television.
