Hannah Smith (Ariel Moore)
Hannah Smith (Ariel Moore) is a rising Junior at State High. She is delighted to be making her debut with SCCT! She has been performing with Singing Onstage and Thespians for many years. Some of her favorite credits include Pirates of Penzance (Dance Captain), Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear) and Little Women (Amy March). In her spare time, she likes to play basketball, watch rom-coms, play guitar and see Broadway shows in NYC. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her! She hopes these songs will be stuck in your head all summer long!
Bethanne Fetzer (Vi Moore)
Bethanne returns to the stage of musical theater after 35 years! She was a competitive dancer and worked semi professionally gracing the stages of New York and New Jersey with featured roles such as Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Reno in Anything Goes and Marty in Grease to name a few. Bethanne was lead singer of Quintessence, a local band of weddings and private events for 17 years. She is a mental health therapist and owner of A Journey to You Professional Counseling Services in State College. She enjoys spending her time with her children and grandchildren and traveling.
Meghan Leger (Rusty)
Meghan is excited to be performing in the Boal Barn again with SCCT for Footloose! This is her fourth production with SCCT, having been seen in last season’s Holmes!, The Blitz Sisters, and The Psychic. She is a Florida transplant and grew up in Clearwater, so if she thinks too hard about how she is landlocked she starts to feel claustrophobic. Most of her days are spent in a lab working on her Ph.D. in materials science and engineering at Penn State, but in her spare time she enjoys weightlifting, cooking, playing with her cats, and being the biggest Tampa Bay Lightning fan in central PA. Eddie Dixon (Willard Hewitt)
This will be the first play that I’ve ever been in so I’m equal parts excited and nervous. Hopefully I won’t have to many jitters performing for all of you. I’ve always wanted to get into theatre but never took the leap. I figured now is as good a time as any to get into it. I love to sing and dance which you can usually find me doing at some point every day. Im looking forward to performing this production and many more.
Meghan McMullen (Ethel McCormack)
I started doing plays in my church in grade school and moved into page turning for my mother in the pit and ensemble roles in high school on through college. My family and I live in Bellefonte, PA and I hope to instill my love of theatre with my daughter who is almost three. This is my second season with SCCT and I love being back on stage. My previous roles include: - Ensemble, Once on This Island (2010) - Napkin/Townsperson, Beauty and the Beast (2011) - Ensemble, Guys and Dolls (2013) - Ensemble, Sweeny Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2013) - Whore, Les Miserable (2014) - Ensemble, Children of Eden (2015) - Morwen, The Blitz Sisters (2023)
Dillan Brown (Chuck Cranston)
Dillan has lived in the State College area since finishing his undergrad at Penn State in 2022 in Biology and currently resides in Bellefonte. He works for Skills of Central PA as a Peer Support Specialist and has been a member of the State College Choral Society since 2023. He first performed with SCCT this Spring in Honeymoon From Hell as Joey Carmine and this is his first performance in a musical in 6 years. He hopes you enjoy the show and all the work the cast has put into the performance.
Sophie H.M. (Urleen)
Sophie H-M is thrilled to work on her first SCCT project as Urleen. Sophie has performed across Pennsylvania and New York but finds home in Penn State’s No Refund Theater where she serves as the PR Chair. Sophie also inspires the next generation of performers teaching dance and musical theater at MindBodyArt in Port Matilda! Dina Constantinides (Wendy Jo)
Dina recently relocated to State College from Athens, GA, and now works as a research technologist in a biology lab at Penn State. She is absolutely thrilled to be returning to the stage after six years, taking on the role of Wendy Jo in SCCT’s production of "Footloose." Dina has a background in ballet and has performed in numerous musical theater productions, including roles as the Fairy Godmother in "Shrek the Musical" and Sister Mary Patrick in "Sister Act." She is passionate about music and enjoys singing with the State College Choral Society. Dina extends her heartfelt thanks to the SCCT team for this exciting opportunity and to her friends and family for their unwavering support.
Lindsey Byers (Lulu Warnicker)
Lindsey grew up in State College, but has just begun her "career" on the stage. She has never been in a production before and is excited to begin this adventure in the SCCT production of Footloose. Off the stage, Lindsey is a Real Estate Agent and mom, her daughter Addy is also in the production. It's thank's to Addy's encouragement that Lindsey decided to audition, and she is so greatful for the opportunity!
Jared Kehler (Coach Roger Dunbar)
Jared is glad to be performing back at the Boal Barn! After graduating from Penn State in 2019, he decided to stay in State College. He has been a part of numerous SCCT productions, starting in the ensemble of “Jekyll & Hyde” (2015). Some of his favorite roles include Charlie Brown in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (2017), Mortimer in “The Fantasticks” (2022), and John Connery in “Holmes!: The Musical” (2023). He has also been involved with other community theatre groups, playing Ken Gorman in “Rumors” (2022) with the Stone Arch Players, and Don John in Class Act Productions’ “Much Ado About Nothing” (2024). He would like to thank his family, friends and coworkers who have been supportive of his theatre endeavors over the years, as well as the cast and crew for the hard work they put into this production. He hopes you cut loose and enjoy the show!
Abby Fleming (Eleanor Dunbar)
Abby’s theatre journey began in elementary school, and it is a passion she has pursued through her adult life, most recently with Lewistown’s Stone Arch Players both on and offstage. She made her SCCT debut this past fall in “All My Murders”, and is excited to come back for her first musical in 10 years! Abby works at Everence FCU as a teller, and enjoys spending her free time swing dancing, getting together with friends, and going to shows. She is incredibly thankful for all the support she has received from family and friends over the years, and the continued support for this production and those to come!
Addyson Faussette (Lyle)
Addyson Faussette is a rising Senior at State High. She has been singing since she could talk and she did a lot of both! She is a member of two audition choir groups at State High; Master Singers and Chamber Singers, and is also a member of the State High Thespians. She recently starred as Cady Heron for Millbrook Playhouse’s production of Mean Girls Jr. and competed in Happy Valley's Got Talent. Addy is very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this production. She wants to thank everyone who has supported her along the way and made all of this possible.
Whitney McMullen (Travis)
Whitney McMullen (Travis) is excited to participate in this community theatre production. They're in 9th grade and have been seen in many State High productions. Some of their favorite rules include Samar (Wishtree), Ensemble (Pirates of Penzance) & Witch/Messenger (Macbeth). Other than theatre, Whitney enjoys cooking and sewing, using their hobbies as a way to bond with their friends. They are excited to have worked on a show where they play a character of a different gender, and of course adore all of their fellow cast mates, and their family for supporting them.
Lance Wilkinson (Principal Harry Clark)
J. Lance Wilkinson (Principal Clark) is happy to tread the boards once again since returning to the stage in 2015. Prior appearances include Sitting Bull ("Annie Get Your Gun"), Kringelin, Rich Man & Phil ("Gypsy"), ensemble ("Footloose The Musical","9 to 5 The Musical", "The Wedding Singer"), Duke Frederick ("As You Like It"), Henry ("Murder Me Always"), Sheriff Willie Rackham ("Murd-ARR!!! Pirates of the Salty Dog"), the Press Corp ("Dead Tuesday"), the Motorist ("Clue on Stage"), Warden, Grandfather & Man in Shelter ("The Blitz Sisters") Tony Moroni (“All My Murders”), and Al Gillespie ("Honeymoon From Hell") all with State College Community Theatre, as well as Chapuys' Attendant ("A Man For All Seasons") and ensemble ("Mama Mia!") with Nittany Theatre, Detective Jingles ("Cutthroat Christmas"), Bob The Cameraman ("The Final Rose") and Edmund Warren ("The Will To Kill") with Sock & Buskin, and in several PSU Student Films. He originated the role 'Drunk Messenger' in Jerry Sawyer's "Arthur and Merlin", and spoke and sang the 'voice' of the mute Zechariah in Jerry's "Mary and Elizabeth: A Conversation." Thanks to Vija for indulging him yet again, and for the support from family and friends and the welcoming and growing State College theatre community.
Charlotte Getson (Betty Blast)
Is a State College native. She graduated from Penn State with a degree in English in 2022 and works at Schlow Library. Charlotte has taken part in several shows with SCCT including; High School Musical, A Murder Has Been Renounced, Last Call at Chez Mort, Holmes the Musical, The Blitz Sisters and The Psychic. She has been seeing shows with SCCT since she was 7 and is so excited to be involved in another production. She'd like to thank her family and friends for all their support and is thrilled to be working with such an amazing cast and crew. Hope you enjoy the show.
Sarah Lala (Jeter)
Sarah Lala is playing Jeter and in the ensemble. Sarah is thrilled to make her debut with the State College Community Theater in Footloose! Prior to this show, Sarah had been very active in community theater in her hometown of Reading, Pa. where she performed in over 30 shows. Sarah wants to thank both the SCCT and all the cast and crew for making this such an awesome experience - this show is going to be amazing!
Clare Robson (Bickle)
Clare is so excited to be a part of the State College Community Theatre for the first time in this production Footloose. This is her first time doing theatre since 2016, when she was a part of her middle school production of Footloose. An undergraduate student at Penn State University, she’s loved singing with the Penn State University Choir and None of the Above A Capella.
Grace Dible (Garvin)
Footloose will be Grace’s first show with the State College Community Theatre and she is incredibly excited for this opportunity! Some of Grace’s previous shows include Evil Dead: The Musical! as Shelly, Next To Normal as an understudy for Natalie and Diana, and Rabbit Hole as Becca. In her free time, Grace enjoys playing the ukulele, reading, and spending time with family. Grace hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Joy Robertson (Cowgirl Bobbi/Cop)
Joy Marie is professional dancer and singer. She has taught dance for over 20 years and coached her competitive dance team to Gold. She is lead singer of Joy Marie and the Gill street band, and has performed at Arts Fest, Peoples Choice, 4th Fest, Wingsfest, Pine Grove Hall, Lion bash, the Film fest at the State Theatre etc. and played roles in “The Scrooge,” “Claybourne Park,” opened up for “King Lear,” and “All my murder.” She is very excited to be apart of the State College Community Theatre as the Choreographer/Cowboy Bobbi for Footloose.
Michelle McMullen (Adult Ensemble)
Michelle is happy to be returning to SCCT after a 25 year hiatus. Since then she has moved to Pittsburgh and back with her greatest accomplishment in tow - her 15 year old, Whitney - on stage tonight as Travis. She is glad that her boss had her make year long goals last year - one of which was getting back on stage in July! She dedicates this performance to her dad who gave her roots and her mom who gave her wings. She knows they are in the front row of (the former) section 2 cheering her and Whitney on.
Naliya Robinson (Teen Ensemble)
Naliya is in seventh grade, and is a person that adores art, music and theater. She performed her first show when she was eight and has done five junior plays after that. She enjoys drawing in her free time. She joined choir and is a very good singer in her opinion. She has been King Louis in the Jungle Book as well as Mowgli, Simba in the Lion King, and ensemble in other plays. She is eager to learn and work on this show!
