This is a staged reading of Reinventing Rick. 

Reinventing Rick is a story of Rick Foster, a man who has it all. Professional success, and the husband of his dreams. But when his husband unexpectedly dies, Rick thinks the worst has happened.   And then, on the cusp of turning 40, tragedy strikes again.  His parents move in.  Will Rick learn how to  face this new reality, or crack under the pressure? 

Reinventing Rick, written by Frank Nelson, was the Winner of the 2021 Starlight Community Theater Playwrighting Contest.  This contest encourages new works for the stage by providing an opportunity for Arizonans to engage in the playwriting process. The primary prize is a guaranteed staged reading.
