Original Creative Team

Current senior, Laynie Pitts, has been a part of four productions with the SV Theater Department: A Christmas Carol, My Fair Lady, All Together Now, and Into the Woods. Her favorite memory was getting to perform a number from one of her all-time favorite musicals during her favorite show, All Together Now. On top of theatre, she has participated in Marching Band for seven years, Jazz Band for six years, Pep Band for six years, Solo & Ensemble for 6 years, 4-H for ten years, National Honor Society for three years (acting Co-Vice President for one year), Class Officers for four years with two years as Class Vice President and two years as the Secretary of the Class of 2022. Through theater, she has learned how to push her own limits and how to solve problems on the fly (through several last-minute crises right before showtime) and how to “Seize the day!”. She hopes to take this lesson with her to Indiana University, to pursue a major in Media Production and a minor in Technical Theater.
