Into the Woods Cast

The Baker (Alex Myers)
Current senior Alex Myers has been a part of SV Theater since Music Man, and has since been in Shrek, White Christmas, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie Brown, Willy Wonka, A Christmas Carol, My Fair Lady, All Together Now, and currently, Into the Woods. On top of theater, he has been a part of the marching band, jazz band, concert band, Solo and Ensemble competition, National Honor Society, choir, and the Academic Super Bowl. He has played in other small ensembles, and earned the Academic Excellence 1 & 2 Award his junior and senior year. Through theater, he has learned how to be flexible and creative, and he will never forget when Ms. Cole told him,“You did fantastic today. I have no idea what you are doing most of the time, but it was good.” His favorite show was My Fair Lady, because of the challenge his role as leading man provided him, and his favorite memory was going to Buffalo Wild Wings and talking to Ms. Cole about the fight going on that night. He plans on attending Purdue University for Engineering.
Baker's Wife (Tahressa Clark)
Tahressa Clark has been an actor for SV Theatre for 8 productions including her first show, Beauty and the Beast, and other shows, such as White Christmas, Wizard of Oz, Charlie Brown, My Fair Lady, All Together Now, Willy Wonka, Christmas Carol, and currently, Into the Woods. Her favorite show is My Fair Lady because of the cast and her role as the leading lady, Eliza. Her favorite memory with the SV Theater is when the whole cast is together and having fun. One lesson that she has learned in her time with this theater department is that family isn’t just blood, and that home can be more than just a place, it can be people too. She hopes to take that lesson with her when she goes on to Ivy Tech for Early Childhood Education & Teaching.
Cinderella (Hannah Helt)
Hannah is a Senior and in her 8th production with SV Theatre.
Jack's Mother (Tatum Whallon)
Tatum Whallon is a current senior, and her acting debut was Elf Jr. She has been in many other productions since then such as A Charlie Brown Christmas, Willy Wonka, A Christmas Carol, My Fair Lady, All Together Now, and Into the Woods! Alongside theater, she has been involved in choir for eight years, band for one year, color guard for one year, bowling for three years, and our new student council for one semester. Through theater, she has learned how to rely on friends and castmates when the going gets tough, as well as leaning upon the phrase “The show must go on”! Her favorite memory from theater was a dance break with fellow cast mate Peyton Wood in My Fair Lady, and her favorite show to perform was All Together Now due to her involvement in its production and the variety of characters she got to perform. Her future plans are to attend Ivy Tech for 2 years, and then transfer to a 4 year college to study film production and painting/drawing.
Narrator/Mysterious Man (Nolan Williams)
Current senior Nolan Williams has been a part of SV Theater since his first show, Charlie Brown. Since then, he has been in Willy Wonka, Christmas Carol, My Fair Lady, All Together Now, and Into the Woods. On top of theater, he has been in 4-H for 8 years, Junior Leaders for 7 years, Swim for 3 years, Track and Field for 3 years, Marching Band for 7 years, Cross Country for 2 years, National Honor Society for 3 years, and Soccer for 1 year. Through theater, he has learned that you shouldn’t be afraid to be yourself. His favorite memories are from before each evening show on Friday, when everyone is trying to find something to do that doesn’t annoy Ms. Cole. His favorite show was My Fair Lady, because he felt extremely close to the entire cast and crew, and the final days where it all came together were very fun. His future plans include attending Purdue University for Computer Engineering.
Stepmother (Corinna Moore)
Current senior, Corinna Moore, has been a part of 8 productions with SV Theater, her first one being Shrek. On top of theater, she has participated in Color Guard for 4 years, Dance Team for 7 years, and Vicki School of Dance for 13 years. Theater has taught her that real friends will always stick with you, and her favorite memory was doing the wolf scene in her favorite show, Beauty and the Beast. Corinna plans on attending University of Southern Indiana to major in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Pediatrics.
Rapunzel (Mandy Alger)
Current senior Mandy Alger has been a part of SV Theater since Elf JR, and since then has been in Shrek, White Christmas, Charlie Brown’s Christmas, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka, Beauty and the Beast, All Together Now, and Into the Woods.On top of theater, she has been involved in choir for 6 years and bowling for 4 years. She has learned that no matter what happens on the stage or in life, you need to keep moving forward and leave a positive impact. Her favorite shows have been All Together Now and My Fair Lady due to the characters she got to perform. Her favorite memories are from all of the opening nights she has experienced. She plans on attending ISU and majoring in Performing Arts to continue performing and singing.
Snow White (Melanie Coonce)
Senior Melanie Coonce has been a part of different productions such as Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, White Christmas, Willy Wonka, and Wizard of Oz, as well as participating in choir for four years. Her favorite memory is from Wizard of Oz, where she learned how to operate the flight rig used in the show. Her favorite show was Beauty and the Beast, where she realized that she had somewhere to belong to, and how she learned that even families fight sometimes. “Theater isn’t just a fun activity, it’s a family. We see each other at our worst and best, and always support each other.” Her future plans include either opening a baking business or becoming a tattoo artist and professional piercer.
Jack (K. 'Idris' Mackey)
Sophomore Mackey has been in theater for 11 productions starting with Music Man, and continuing with Elf, Shrek, Beauty and the Beast, White Christmas, Wizard of Oz, Charlie Brown, Willy Wonka, Christmas Carol, My Fair Lady, All Together Now, and currently, Into the Woods. On top of theater, Mackey has been in cross country for three years, swimming for one year, marching band for three years, and National Honor Society for one year. Through theater, Mackey has learned to “Tinsel up!” and that you can choose your family. Mackey’s favorite memory is either the hide and seek games played on Friday before the first show or the late night rehearsal dinners during tech week. Mackey’s favorite show is All Together Now due to the cast and seeing the alumni for the first time in a while. Mackey’s future plans are to go to college and major in music performance and double minor in music business and music education.
