Asa Dupras (Jesus)
Asa is excited to be in his third show with Spa City Theatre after spending numerous years going through the Saratoga Children's Theatre programs. He is currently a rising sophomore at Emerson College pursuing a degree in BFA Musical Theatre. He would like to thank the cast, the SCT staff, as well as his family and friends for their support.
Teddy Van De Ven IV (John the Baptist/Judas)
Teddy is honored to be playing Judas in this great show. He is a sophomore attending SUNY Fredonia for music education. He is so happy to have worked with this great group of talented individuals.
Ben Mills (Ben)
Ben Mills is currently pursuing a Theater Major at James Madison University. He was most recently featured in Open Stay at JMU and in South Pacific with Not So Common Players. He is looking forward to new opportunities in his sophomore year.
Emily Covell (Emily)
Emily Covell (she/her) is currently a BFA Musical Theatre major at Manhattanville college and will graduate in 2023. This is her third Spa City production following Newsies (specs) and Little Women (jo). Emily also works as a choreographer for Saratoga Children's theatre, and is so thrilled to be back with both of these amazing companies this summer. Fun fact; Emily also has an interest in criminal law and plans to attend law school in the future as she is good at arguing and loves true crime. :)
Kai Farr (Kai)
Kai Farr is a rising sophomore at Boston University where he is studying Film & Television Production with a double minor in Anthropology and Gender Studies. He is proud to say that he does in fact know how to spell “god.” Enjoy the show!
Katy Hawthorne (Katy)
Katy Hawthorne is a sophomore Musical Theatre major at Nazareth College. She is excited to perform once again with Spa City Theatre, and hopes you enjoy the show.
Lori Lauricella (Lori)
Lori has always loved musical theatre and is excited to be in Godspell. Thank you Bob and Spa City Theatre! Lori attended the Long Island High School for the Arts and has participated in musical theatre workshops through the vocal studio of Lisa Franklin, as well as with casting director, Bob Cline and with broadway actor, Grey Henson. Lori is in a local production of Hello Dolly and sang in the choir of Lincoln Center’s 50th Anniversary Celebration of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Maria Sablich (Maria)
Maria Sablich - Maria is thrilled to be performing in her second Spa City Theatre production. Maria will be a rising freshman in the musical theatre studio at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and would like to thank her fellow castmates for making her last show before college such a special experience. She hopes you enjoy this funny, touching, and impactful performance of Godspell!
Maddy Mergl (Maddy)
Maddy is a student at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY and is studying to be a music teacher. This is her third show with Spa City Theater and she’s so excited to see what’s to come.
Ryan Nolan (Ryan)
Ryan is thrilled to join the cast of Godspell with Spa City Theatre. He has participated in both directing and performing with the company for the past 3 years and has loved every second of it! Enjoy the show!
Spencer Boyce (Spencer)
Spencer is thrilled to be making his onstage debut with Spa City Theatre after Assistant Directing their previous production of Little Women, and Co-directing last summer's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Most recently, Spencer won Best Actor at the High School Musical Theatre Awards at Proctors for his performance as The Baker in Saratoga Springs High School's production of Into the Woods. This award gained him a nomination for The National High School Musical Theatre Awards, or The Jimmy Awards, where he trained with Broadway professionals and performed on Broadway at The Minskoff Theatre.
