About Clue

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

Theatre at Sanford School

Formed to provide outstanding drama education to Sanford School students, Sanford Repertory Theatre Company (SRTC) performs two auditioned productions a year—a comedic or dramatic play in November (open to grades 9–12) and a musical in February (open to grades 7-12).

Opportunities exist for actors, technical crew members, and students seeking leadership positions. Though typically suited for students in grades 7–12, the musical selection sometimes calls for our younger students’ participation.

Our high-caliber productions take place in our professional Rubin Family Theater inside the new Geipel Center for Performing Arts. There’s not a bad seat in the house. Thank you for supporting SRTC, and we are so happy you could join us for our star-quality productions!
