The Unfortunates Creative

Stage Manager
Alison Quinn
This is Alison Quinn's eighth production with SST. Her favorite roles include Lily in She Kills Monsters and Mother Theresa in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. This is her second-time stage managing a show, her first one being Little Shop of Horrors. She would like to thank her family for supporting her, and Liz Rolph for appreciating the rehearsal reports.
Stage Manager
Emma Philbin
is very excited as The Unfortunates is her second production with Salesianum School Theater. Little Shop of Horrors was her first production last spring, and was her first time learning about stage management, which she has gone on to continue as she enjoys it. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her throughout this process and appreciates the schedule arrangements they have made to make it possible for her to be a part of this musical.
Design Captain/Choreographer
Emily Malone
(Design Captain, Choreographer, Deck Captain) is a senior at Padua, and she is proud to be participating in her 5th production at SST. While she always says she doesn't like art, Emily loves being creative through set design, construction, and dance. Her favorite experiences have been painting foam to look like building materials on stage crew and being part of the amazing choreo team in Little Shop of Horrors. Emily would like to thank her family for their support, Mr. Lock for trusting her as a designer and leader, and her cousins for convincing her to join SST in the first place.
Student Director/Pianist
Aaron McCloskey
is thrilled to be involved in the creative direction of The Unfortunates. This is his third year participating in Salesianum School Theater, with past roles being John Webster in Shakespeare in Love, and ensemble/understudy of Mr. Mushnick and Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors. He would like to thank his family and friends, all the incredible people involved in this project, and most of all, his dogs Murphy and Mabel.
Student Producer
Jack Sweeney
Jack Sweeney (Student Producer) is currently working on his second SST production. In Radium Girls, he had a different job as a crew member which he really enjoyed.
Clarinet
Abby McLaughlin
is excited for the opportunity to be participating in this year's show. She previously played in Salesianum's production of Ragtime. Outside of theatre, Abby enjoys participating in the other bands at Salesianum and Irish Dancing for the McAleer Paulson School of Irish Dance. She would like to thank Mr. Cox for the endless possibilities he provides for his students to expand their musical talents, and most importantly she would like to thank her parents for their support along the way.
Drum Set
Sean Mann
is excited to be participating in his first Salesianum School Theater production. In addition to music, Sean enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee. He would like to thank his friends and family for their encouragement.
Alto Saxophone
Parker Lehmann
Parker is excited to be playing in the pit orchestra for Salesianum’s production of The Unfortunates. Although not on stage, Parker has had lots of experience acting at St. Edmonds Academy, with his most notable role being Lumière (alongside Ryan Spartin - Cogsworth) from Beauty and the Beast. When not at school, you can find him playing his flute/sax or doing various activities outside, such as playing soccer or mountain biking. He is looking forward to being involved in theatre again, and would like to thank his previous music teacher/director, Deb DeHart, for helping to foster his love of music, as well as SST for giving him such a wonderful opportunity!
Tenor and Baritone Saxophone
Kevin Adam
is excited to be playing in his first musical at Salesianum. In addition to playing music, he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, outdoor activities, and traveling. He has been playing the clarinet since fourth grade, which led him to playing tenor saxophone. He has been a member of the Philadelphia Archdiocese Concert and Jazz Bands and the Northeastern Music Program Concert Band. He is currently a member of the Salesianum Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Music Ministry, and the DMEA All-State Senior Band. He would like to thank his family and teachers for their support.
