Samantha, a young adult woman who struggles with anxiety, is coping with the loss of her mother two years prior. She has the little-known ability to step out of time and meets Ethan, a young man who also can step out of time, and love begins to bloom. At the same time, her distant father resurfaces in hopes of healing their relationship through processing the unexpected loss of Samantha’s mother. The story deals with themes of anxiety, loss, family, love, time, and secrets.
