About Disney's Aladdin JR.

Welcome to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail! Aladdin (Nehemiah Smith) and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie, who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine and her over-protective father the Sultan, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character while facing the evil Jafar and his lackey, Iago. Aladdin and his pals always have to be "one jump ahead" while dodging Prince Abdullah, his attendants, market shop owners, apple vendors, and fortune tellers; palace guards, beggars, and Princess Jasmine's three loyal attendants, Isir, Manal, and Rajah. 

Will Aladdin and Jasmine fight for true love, or will Prince Abdullah steal her away? Will Jafar and Iago finally defeat Aladdin and his pals? Will Babkak ever stop loving food, and Kassim never stop stealing the spotlight? Find out in today's performance of, Disney's Aladdin Jr.!

Rampant Theatrical Company

The Friends of the Theatre is a J.H. Rose High School voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the performing arts program.  The Friends assist the Rampart Theatrical Company in the production of plays and musicals which showcase the students’ remarkable talent, provide entertainment for our community, and grow support for the arts programs in Pitt County Schools.  These productions are funded through the generous contributions of parents, families, individual arts supporters, community businesses, box office revenue, and through advertisements in the productions’ playbills. Cost for royalties, scripts, set construction, costumes, musical scores, musicians, etc. can be very high.  Funding for theatrical productions is not included in the school budget.
