Jeeves at Sea Cast

Bertie Wooster (John Lamb)
John is ecstatic to be a part of his first show with PTD Productions! This will be John's second time performing in a Jeeves play. John has played Eustace Bassinton Bassington in Jeeves intervenes, directed by Veronica Long, in 2019. John has also done many other productions such as The Crucible, Muder Comes to Uptight Abbey, A Chorus Line, Chicago and many more! Outside of live theater John loves walks through Ann Arbor and collecting fine spirits and liqueurs. John would like to thank all his friends and cast and crew members and patrons for their continued support of local live theater and hopes you enjoy the show!
Jeeves (Chris Martin)
Chris Martin is a first timer with PTD productions. Since stumbling into the role of Adrian in Shakespeare in the Arb's production of The Tempest five years ago, he has (much to his own surprise) gone on to play such roles as Polonius in Hamlet, Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet and Sir Toby in Twelfth Night, among others. Having been a part of the same pandemic-thwarted Jeeves play as Andy and Veronica, he is thrilled at the opportunity for a do-over and is also crossing his fingers that this production will have made it far enough for you to actually be reading this programme. Special thanks to Veronica for the literally last-minute text message that got me to the audition!
Lady Stella Vanderley (Brittany Batell)
Brittany Batell (Lady Stella Vanderley) - Brittany grew up watching Jeeves and Wooster, so when she saw PTD putting it onstage, she couldn't resist! She is delighted to be part of this cast and crew on a show that is pure joy in these tough COVID times. Previously, Brittany has acted in shows with the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, Brass Tacks Ensemble, and Shakespeare in the Arb, and most recently in "Ripper" with Penny Seats Theatre Company. Many thanks to her supportive partner, Casey, and her D&D groups who are patiently awaiting her return once rehearsals are over.
Miss Minerva Pilbeam (Veronica Long )
Veronica is thrilled to be a part of her first show with PTD, and third production of the Jeeves and Wooster collection. She directed a dinner theater production of Jeeves Intervenes with Center Stage Jackson in 2019, and would have performed as Gertrude Winklesworth-Bode in Ann Arbor Civic Theatre’s 2020 production of Jeeves Intervenes had COVID not shut it down the night before opening. It seems only fitting to return to in-person theater by revisiting this hilarious series! Veronica has worked on over 50 productions in the past two decades in various capacities including acting, directing, and teching, as well as having sat on multiple Boards of Directors. Other than theater, Veronica likes playing games, traveling, and working as a realtor for Keller Williams. She wants to thank everyone involved in this process from the cast to the crew to the behind-the-scenes people to the audience for finally ending this too long, forced hiatus of being off-stage!
Count Otto Von Dietrichstein (Jerry Doty)
This is Jerry’s 5th show with PTD – the comedies Advice for Losers and Your Call Is Important To Us virtually and The Real Inspector Hound and Hay Fever in the before days. He would like to thank his old and new friends in the cast and crew for a fantastic last two months (how many times have we said how great it is to be back to doing this?), his family and friends for their support (and laughter in the audience), and the cast of Hogan’s Heroes for their help with his accent.
Sir Percival Crumpworth (Wyatt Woodside)
This is Wyatt's 7th show with PTD productions and first stage show since the start of the pandemic. Since returning to the stage almost 5 years ago he's been in multiple shows in the area as well as a few independent movies, but he couldn't be happier to be returning to his home stage here at the RAC. He's had a wonderful time and a lot of laughs working with this amazing cast! Wyatt hopes you all have a wonderful time and a lot of laughs tonight as well, because we could all use it right about now!
