Morven Higgins has been a member of the Piven community for almost two decades. She began taking classes at the Workshop in junior high and went on to become a member of its prestigious Young People's Company (YPC). Morven began training as a Piven teacher while she was an undergraduate at the University of Chicago and also served as the organization's Director of Education for four years. As a director she has worked with both of the Workshop's advanced youth ensembles and currently teaches High School Performance Lab in addition to serving as Company Director for YPC. Beyond her theatre work, Morven is a non-profit administrator and development professional working in Chicago.

This is Maya’s first time ever being an apprentice for YPC, and she is overjoyed to be here! She was a student with Piven for about 8 years, and currently studies at the University of Southern California. She is pursuing a degree in Theater with an Emphasis in Acting.

Lili was in YPC all throughout high school and has been with Piven since she was 11. She is thrilled to be one of the apprentices for YPC this year and is so excited to see the final performance! She is currently a sophomore at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania majoring in Theatre with an Acting concentration and a Creative Writing minor.

Frankie started as a student with Piven at the age of 10 and has been apprentice teaching for 3 years. She absolutely adores her Piven family! Frankie is currently studying Theatre Arts with an emphasis in acting at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin with a minor in Educational Studies.
