Young People's Company 2022 Cast

Nicole Brodsky (The Blue Rose)
Nicole Brodsky is a senior in high school. She has attended Piven theatre for the past 5 years. Prior to Piven, Nicole was casted in Kid stage theatre in Northbrook for three years in a row. Nicole enjoys theatre on Saturdays and attends art school every Sunday.

Isabella Escobar (Master Cat & Local Girls)
Isabella joined Piven in 2013. She loves attending classes and learning the different styles and techniques each class has taught her. Beginning classes since the third grade, she is now a Junior at ETHS and very excited to participate in her third year of YPC!
Mordecai Evans (Master Cat)
This is Mordecai! He has been in YPC since the 6th grade. He came to YPC for laughter and as a creative outlet for something more than what he was. He’s been here for about 6 years now and has never regretted a moment of it not only that he also came to Piven to express himself and that’s what YPC and all the other programs have done!
Lily Gilbert (Master Cat & Local Girls)
Lily was invited to YPC in 2019, and she is extremely excited to perform this year. She is a senior at New Trier, and some of her favorite shows she was in are Shrek and Once On This Island.
Belise Gorleku (Master Cat & Local Girls)
Belise has been a part of YPC since 2019. She loves to be at Piven Theatre and be a part of their projects. She has been with Piven for about 6 years! She is now a senior at Evanston Township High School. She is very excited to be a part of YPC again this year and try something new. She loves story theatre and is excited to work with such talented actors and share her final year with such an amazing cast!
Sophie Hurd (Master Cat & Baba Yaga and the Black Geese)
Sophie joined YPC in 2019. She began at Piven in 3rd grade. Ever since, she has continued in school productions and now directing and writing in her own theater club. As a senior at ETHS, she is very excited about this year’s YPC production!
Xander Mroczek (Master Cat & Baba Yaga and the Black Geese)
Xander Mroczek has been taking classes at Piven since 4th grade. He’s a freshman at ETHS and is excited to be performing with YPC for the first time. He has previously been a part of Performance Project and the Advanced Performance Ensemble and both of these experiences have helped develop his acting skills. Outside of theatre, he enjoys ramen, dogs and swimming.
Delcene Ralaingita (The Blue Rose)
Delcene joined YPC in 2020. She is a junior at ETHS, and is relatively new to the Piven family, having moved to the Chicago area in 2019. Some of her favorite roles in the past were as Mrs. Hannigan in Annie, and Helka Zimmering in Hiding in The Open. She’s excited to be in her first live YPC performance!
Sophia Roberts (The Blue Rose)
Sophia has been taking classes at Piven Theater since February of 2021. This is her first year at YPC and she loves every second of the experience from meeting her spectacular ensemble to exploring her craft as an actor. She is currently a senior at Highland Park High School. At school, she has worked both on stage in productions as well as behind the scenes in the crew. She can’t wait for her first (and last) YPC performance!
Annabel Rush (Baba Yaga and the Black Geese)
Annabel Rush is a junior at ETHS. She has been in several school productions in her previous high school and two short films. This is her first year in YPC but she has been taking classes at Piven since 2019. Her hobby is watching films. She is very excited for this year's YPC performance.
Lucabella Sangin (The Blue Rose & Local Girls)
Lucabella became a member of YPC in 2019. She is a Senior at Loyola Academy and joined their theater program last year. She also has performed in a few musicals, one of her favorites being, How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying. She is excited to be back on stage for her last YPC performance and feels incredibly lucky to perform with such a talented group of actors.
Maddy Schwendener (The Blue Rose & Baba Yaga and the Black Geese)
Maddy Schwendener has been taking classes at Piven since 5th grade. She loves kittens, roller blading, and acting. She is currently a 9th grader at ETHS and is excited to do YPC again next year.
