Martha (Joelle Witner)
Joelle Witner (Martha) is a stage veteran who has performed in, directed, and choreographed over 150 productions and is co-Founder of PTPA in 1997 and DM Performance Works in 2009. Most recently seen in DMPW’s Fiddler on the Roof as Golde, and High School Musical as Ms Darbus. She performs with the regional show band 70s Flashback as the female lead singer and owns Drama in Motion Studio of Performing Arts where she has been teaching dance, voice, and theater for many years (so many years!) She is thrilled to be working with some of her favorite stage performers and friends under the tutelage of Adam Randis. Thank you for supporting live theater!
George (Lee Alucci)
Lee Alucci (George) has performed in dozens of local productions over the past 15 years. Notably He was honored to play the iconic role of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird and as Col. Nathan Jessup in A Few Good Men as well as “Tubs” in And Then There Were None, Detective Rough in Gaslight, and John Handcock in 1776. Some of Lee’s favorite roles also include Roger/Gary in Noises Off and George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life (three wonderful times). Lee graduated from Tamaqua Area H.S. in 1987 where he ran track, played football and stayed comfortably away from anything to do with theater. Lee is a U.S. Army Gulf War veteran, where he served with the 1st Infantry Division. After the military he graduated from Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland with a degree in computer animation. He has been blissfully married to his biggest fan Carla for 26 years! They have two fantastic children - his daughter Logan, one of the most caring souls you should ever have the chance to meet; as well as Dante, a first-year college student, avid football player, and walking sports almanac. Lee would like to thank his castmates for being, well, awesome and is in awe of the talent that our little piece of the world contains.
Honey (Jessica Schafer)
Jessica Schafer (Honey) has been performing in community theatre for over 15 years and first set foot on the PTPA stage in 2013. She also enjoys performing in the murder mystery troupe The Sugarbaker Players. By day, Jessica is a music teacher at West Hazleton Elementary/Middle School. Jessica was seen most recently in the ensemble of PTPA’s Something Rotten. Some of her favorite past roles include: Laurey Williams (Oklahoma!), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Jo March (Little Women), Reno Sweeney (Anything Goes), Bella Manningham (Gaslight), Vera Claythorne (And Then There Were None), Alais (The Lion in Winter), and Nora Morton (Brighton Beach Memoirs).
Nick (Tim Solarek)
Tim Solarek (Nick) is a veteran of the NEPA theater scene, appearing in numerous local productions over the past several years. Some of Tim's favorite roles include Aldolpho (Drowsey Chaperone); Lt. Kaffee (A Few Good Men); Philip Lombard (And Then There Were None); E.K. Hornbeck (Inherit the Wind); Jerry (Zoo Story); Sam Byck (Assassins); and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Amadeus). He is also co-director of the DM Performance Works Youth Academy.
