Butch Lee (Raynerd)
Butch made his acting debut at Popa as (Sergei in Universal Connections) some of the things that he enjoys doing are acting and making people laugh. He started acting with the Grand Opera House in Dubuque, IA in Guys &Dolls and Singing in the Rain. He is a volunteer firefighter with South Pend Oreille Fire and Rescue.
Justin Clark (Justin)
He made his debut in The One Act Play Festival 2022 as Frank in ‘The Price of Freedom’. He is a music writer and a YouTuber. You Tube Channel (Shooteo). He is FUNNY, ENERGETIC, LITERAL and a JOKER. Justin is looking forward to his acting career.
Laura Verity (Honey Raye)
This is Laura’s debut production at the Pend Oreille Playhouse, however, this isn’t her first time on stage. In high school Laura was part of the Theater Company, performing in a number of Mime Shows and in a traveling performance troop. Outside of theatre, Laura keeps busy as a wife, a mom to three amazing young kids, a career-woman, and a soccer coach (Go Griz!).
Darlene Mossman (Miss Geneva Musgrave)
Darlene has been a professional musician, playing bass guitar and singing, for many years. She dipped all 10 toes into acting, in the POPA musical, Coming to America, in 2019, and then MTIs All Together Now and Jake’s Place. During the shutdown, Darlene began grant writing for the theater, which led to the invitation to take on the role of Executive Director of POPA in 2021. Becoming a part of the theater family has been a very rewarding experience, both on stage and behind the scenes.
John Connelly (Dub)
John made his debut at POPA in the recent production of “War of the Worlds”. He recently moved to the area from Renton, Wa. and is excited To be part of local theater and looking forward to many productions to come.
Donna Maki (Patsy Price)
I was involved with POPA back when we were staging plays wherever we could find a space. Playing Patsy Price is a fun way to return to the stage. She’s one of those characters you love and hate at the same time. It's been wonderful working with this talented cast and director. Thanks for coming!
Taylia Culver (Gina Jo)
My name is Taylia Culver. I have been an actor for The Pend Oreille Players for almost 15 years. I started when I was 7yrs doing Missoula Children's Theatre productions. My love of theater then led me to my first production with the Playhouse in the show Annie at the age of 8. I have been acting here ever since, and have been involved with other local theater groups over the years. I hope to continue to be part of this great organization.
Anna Jones (Twink)
My name is Anna Jones and I have been in many shows with POPA, including ‘The Stinky Feet Gang’, ‘A Christmas Carol’, and ‘Elementary Holiday’. I’ve also been in performances with Mountain Harmony Show Choir and Missoula’s Children Theatre. I’m so excited to be back on stage after the pandemic, and have had a great time working on ‘Jake’s Place’.
James Clark (John Curtis)
This is my first play. I am playing the sheriff for Christmas Belles. I helped with the set for the play Universal Connections I am the owner of Alpine Building and Repair. I am a proud father and grandfather of many children.
Laura Stuivenga (Rhonda Lynn)
Hi! My name is Laura Stuivenga. My first production with Pend Oreille Playhouse was as Annelle in Steal Magnolia’s and in the ensuing years I’ve had the pleasure to appear in shows with Pend Oreille Players and Northwoods Performing Arts. Some of my favorites include, Bell Book &. Candle, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolfe and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. My family teases me about being a witch so many times! I love acting, photography and being a mom and grandma. I hope you enjoy tonight’s show!
Yvonne Clark (Frankie)
Yvonne Clark made her acting debut in the One Act Play Festival of 2022 as the Doctor in ‘Life or Death’ and Kathy in ‘The Price of Freedom’. Yvonne is the Managing Broker/Owner at Alpine Realty Services. She loves being outside and spending time with her kids and animals.
