Choral Director
Drew Albert
This is Drew Albert’s second show as musical director at Noble High School and third year as choral director. No stranger to theater, Drew has directed over a dozen musicals and plays. Some of his favorites in “The Sound of Music”, “Into the Woods”, “Footloose”, Neil Simon’s “Rumors”, and “She Kills Monsters”. He has also worked as Music Director on “Les Miserables”, “Titanic”, and “Mamma Mia”. Drew graduated from the University of Maine with a bachelors in Music Education in 2010 where he served as the Assistant Conductor of the University Singers and the Music Director of the Maine Steiners. Drew has taught vocal and instrumental ensembles for the past ten years. His ensembles have performed at numerous festivals and performance venues throughout the northeast. An active performer, Drew sings tenor with Una Voce Chamber Choir out of Brunswick, where he also serves as assistant artistic director. He can also be seen playing drums with the folk rock band, The Galley Rats. He believes that staying active as a musician himself, plays a crucial role in his work with young musicians. Drew’s wife Ashley Albert is also a music educator. In January of 2021 they celebrated the birth of their daughter Eloise Albert! The Albert family hopes you enjoy the show!
