About Myzrie House

Myzrie House is Created and performed by Mark Wong and Nicole Burgio

Movement theater with circus elements

Direction/Outside Eye by Annie Wilson

Two people are thrust into a mysterious cell together for reasons unknown. Are they the last humans left on Earth? Can they escape? Are they meant to become friends, more than friends, or perhaps enemies? And what’s the deal with the ominous doomsday clock which keeps appearing? Mark Wong and Nicole Burgio invite you to a room of dance, theater, merrymaking, and action. Welcome to Myzrie House.

Content Considerations:  The show includes some loud music, action and fantasy violence (comparable to TV-Y7). All ages are welcome.

Company Bio: Nicole Burgio and Mark Wong are professional movement artists living in West Philly. Nicole is accomplished in acrobatics, circus arts, and physical theater; her solo performance xoxo moongirl (with Almanac Dance Circus Theater) toured nationally and abroad. She currently works as an acrobatics/circus coach and performer. Mark has been passionately practicing and performing, and teaching Breaking for 20 years, and strives to use it as an artistic and educational tool for youth with his company, Hip Hop Fundamentals. Together, they fervently pursue storytelling and empowering others through the arts, striving to always be weird but not boring.
