Alyson Burrell (Ellie Blake)
Alyson Burrell (Ellie Blake) is excited to be making her debut with Mauldin Cultural Center! Favorite Credits include A Young Lady of Property (Wilma), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia) and A Summer of Disbelief, a one-woman show of works by Ray Bradbury. Alyson has her B. A. in Theatre from Bob Jones University. Thanks to Tim, the cast and crew for their love, kindness and support!
Rebekah Frampton (Katherine Blake)
Rebekah Frampton is happy to be performing at Mauldin Cultural Center again! Some favorite recent credits include Lizzie in The Rainmaker (BJU), Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast (HHE), Maria in The Sound of Music (CFT), and four summer tours with SLP performing The Hiding Place. Rebekah studied Theatre Arts at Bob Jones University and has trained with Shining Lighting Players in musical theatre and production coordination. She especially thanks her family, dear friends, and supportive theatre community for their love!
Ben Stasiek (Fletcher Blake)
Ben is so happy to be able to do theatre again and to make his debut on the MCC stage! He is a homeschooled 8 year old and enjoys everything army, playing outside with his brother and friends, and video games when he can. He has been acting in the upstate since he was 4 years old, and is so excited to be in Freaky Friday!
Kristofer Parker (Mike Riley)
Kristofer was last seen in A Family Christmas Spectacular here at the Mauldin Cultural Center Recent credit includes; Jimmy Early in Dreamgirls at Centre Stage. Hairspray (Award for Best Supporting Actor), Sister Act,The Wiz, The Hot ,Mikado, Rent, Songs for a New World, The Producers, Jesus Christ Superstar, Wild Thing, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Rock 'n' Roll Forever, Splish Splash and Annie Get Your Gun (Award for Best Supporting Actor).
Eleanor Stasiek (Gretchen)
Eleanor is a senior at Greenville Technical Charter High School and is excited to be in Freaky Friday as this is her first show at Mauldin! She has previously been in many shows at Clemson Little Theatre with her favorites being Mrs. Beaver in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and Tinkerbell in Peter Pan Jr., She was almost set to be the Acrobat in Matilda at the Market Theatre last year before the shut down. When she’s not in a play, she’s most likely procrastinating in just about everything else! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Rennah St. Clair (Hannah)
Rennah St.Clair has been doing theater for a very long time. She started when she was 3 and has been doing it ever since. Sometimes she is on stage and others she has helped back stage and on tech. Some of her favorites has been Frozen jr, Oliver, beauty and the beast, and Matilda jr. She also has a love for dance and photography and hope’s to be doing all these things for the rest of her life! She sends love to her family and friends and hopes you enjoy the show!
Payton Williams (Adam)
This is Payton’s second performance with the Mauldin Culture Center. The last time you may have seen him on the stage was in October in the show “Let the Good Times Roll”. He would like to thank Tim for allowing him to partake this production and how he has impacted his life in the last year! He would also like to thank my friends and family for supporting him to do this show! Payton is grateful for being apart of this talented cast and crew with a wonderful dance choreographer Kimberlee Ferreira, and great stage manager Barbra Rupp. He is currently working on a debut ep in Nashville so be on the lookout for that!
Charisse Noble (Savannah)
Charisse Noble (Savannah) is very excited to perform for the first time on the Mauldin stage. She has been in over 20 productions in theatres over the Upstate of South Carolina. A few of her favorite roles include Kim MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie (Foothills), both Dorothy Gale & Wicked Witch in Wizard of Oz (Stagecraft Theatre & Artios Academies), and Penny Pingleton in Hairspray (Foothills Playhouse). Charisse loves all things theatre and hopes to continue in this world indefinitely - even one day as a director. She would like to thank Tim for being such an encouraging director and casting her in such a fun role, Kimberlee for being such a wonderful choreographer, the talented cast, and everyone who has been a part of her theatre journey along the way as well as God who blessed her with this gift to perform.
Maxwell Weaver (Parker/Louis)
Maxwell is young and upcoming performer with experience from St. Josesh’s Catholic School, Greenville Theater, Mauldin Cultural Center, and Phyllis Wheatley Repertory Theater. Maxwell has been so blessed to be a part of yet another MCC production as he is just coming off of his two most recent performances there, Let the Good Times Roll and The Family Christmas Spectacular. As Maxwell dives back into musical theatre he would love to give a huge thanks to all of the support he gains from friends and family, as well as a great thanks to all of his coaches and mentors who have helped him on his journey. Of course a huge shoutout to our brilliant choreographer Kimberlee and the man behind it all Tim St. Clair without whom this show would not be possible. So please sit back and enjoy a fantastic show as we bring all our talents and efforts together and offer our voices and talents for the glory of the Lord. Break a leg!
Alexander Hoverath (Wells)
Alex is currently at Greenville tech for engineering technology design. He is a singer-songwriter and a music producer on the side and plays gigs around Greenville almost every week in the hopes of making his hobby a full-time job singing to the masses. I want to thank my Mom and my family for being so supportive of my music career and I hope you all enjoy the show!
Lauren Bennett (Torry/Adam's Mom)
Freaky Friday is Lauren's second show with MCC. She recently appeared as Miss Honey in "Matilda Jr". She would like to thank the production team for putting together such an amazing show and giving her the opportunity to work with the MCC again.
Nancy Burkhard (Grandma Helene/Mrs. Luckenbill)
Nancy Burkard is excited to tread the boards after such a long break and with such a great cast! Some previous favorite roles include Vera “First Baptist of Ivy Gap” and Lucille “Dearly Departed” with Mill Town Players as well as Gilmer Godspell and Ouiser Steel Magnolias (FIRE Theatre Company). Nancy would like to thank Chris for waiting on her hand and literal foot after ankle surgery so she can get back to doing what she loves. Enjoy the show!
Joel Dupont (Grandpa Gordan/Mr. Blumen)
Joel Dupont is an adjunct voice professor at Anderson University and has a love for teaching and vocal science. Joel most recently performed the role of Albert Peterson in Foothill’s Playhouse production of “Bye Bye Birdie. Additional Roles include Crutchie in “Newsies” (GT), Quasimodo from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (YCPA), Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid (YCPA), and Normanno from Lucia di Lammermoor (BJU). Christiana Negron (Danielle/Ms. Meyers)
Originally from Boston, MA, Christiana Negron, a sixteen year old junior, is excited to do her first show in the upstate. Moving during the summer of 2020, she is happy to be living in Greenville. She currently attends Wade Hampton High School and the Fine Arts Center where she studies theater. Some of her past credits include Finch in "Newsies", Martha Cox in "High School Musical" and the Ensemble in "Tommy". She would like to thank her parents for helping her have opportunities in theater and her sister for allowing her to sing constantly in the house. She looks forward to being on stage again and hopes you enjoy the show!
Copeland Brown (Dr. Ehrin/Pastor Bruno)
Copeland Brown is super excited to be back on the Mauldin Cultural stage for "Freaky Friday". Copeland was last seen in "A Mauldin Family Christmas" back in 2019. He is a graduate of Newberry College and has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. When he is not performing, Copeland teaches first grade in Anderson School District 5. Copeland is pursuing a Masters of Education in Literacy Coaching and Reading Recovery at Clemson University. Some of his favorite performance credits include: "Joseph... Dreamcoat" (Benjamin/Greenville Theatre), "Tuck Everlasting" (Hugo/Electric City Playhouse), "Into the Woods" (Baker/Project Challenge Playhouse). Copeland would like to give a HUGE thanks to Tim, Kimberlee, Barb, and the entire crew at MCC for making live theater happen during this crazy time of uncertainty. Enjoy the show!
Sara Gushue (Laurel)
Sara Gushue is a senior at St. Joseph’s Catholic School and is appearing in her first musical...ever. She has previously acted in the one-act "Wait, Wait...I Can Explain" as Real Sister, for which she won an award from the South Carolina Theatre Association. She is a stage manager for her school (This Side of Heaven, Charlotte’s Web, High School Musical) and has received recognition for her work as a stage manager from the Palmetto Dramatic Association. She recently student-directed the one-act play "Waiting for the Bus", which was recognized with seven Superior accolades and was selected to advance to represent SC at the International Thespian Festival. She would like to give her love in little red bags to her Heaven fam, Bus fam, real fam, and Ms. McGrath. Shout out to the amazing cast and crew that worked so hard on the show, and thank YOU for supporting the arts!
Nalla Fisher (Kinsley)
This is Nalla’s second performance with the Mauldin Cultural Center. Nalla is a junior at Wade Hampton high school. She also attends the fine arts center for voice. She was originally preparing to perform with the cast of Annie but unfortunately was not able to as it was canceled due to the pandemic. She is excited to be able to get back to performing after all of the craziness over the past year. She would like to thank her friends, family, and boyfriend for being her biggest supporters. Thank you for for supporting the arts and enjoy the show!
Satcher Howell (Shelton)
Satcher is ecstatic to be a part of the incredibly talented cast of Freaky Friday. Although this is his first production at Mauldin Cultural Center, he has enjoyed roles in other upstate theater productions to include Charlotte's Web (MTP), The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (SCCT), Matilda the Musical (YCPA), and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (SCCT). He is currently a 7th grader and is involved with his school cross country team, swim team, and student government . In his free time, he enjoys singing, improv comedy, as well as playing the trumpet, piano, and guitar. Thanks to my family for their love and support.
