Julie Walborn (as Margaret Jones)
Julie Walborn plays Mrs Margaret Jones in our first Zoom play A Ticket to Die. Julie has been involved with Mason Community Players for over 6 years acting in The David Ives Festival, 12 Angry Men and Dr Evil and the Basket of Kittens. She has also helped out with costuming on King and I, Shrek the Musical, Greater Tuna, Red, White and Tuna, Tuna Christmas, Tuna does Vegas and Enchanted April and A Sentimental Journey: A Salute to the USO.
Scott Mussari (as Charles Jones)
Scott has experience playing the role of a husband, since in real life he is married to his beautiful bride, Patty, and they are blessed with four wonderful children. In addition to the joyfulness and busyness of family living, Scott is so grateful to have been cast in the fictional roles of Dr. Emmett in The Curious Savage and Manolo in the female version of The Odd Couple with Mason Community Players, as well as the divine characters of Moses, Saint Francis and even Jesus Christ through his work at St. Columban Church in Loveland.
Gail Rose (as Rose Anderson)
Gail Rose is pleased to be once again playing the role of Rose Anderson. Always happy to be a part of MCP, she has most recently been in the “Love” musical reviews. She played the mother of William Mason in the bicentennial production Imagine Mason! And was Jane Austen in Pride and Prejudice. You can often see her ushering at MCP productions. When not riding trains, she is an adjunct instructor for the University of Dayton.Thanks to Melissa Gary for write this intriguing role. Thanks to all the cast for making this virtually a blast!
Peyton Hahn (as Ronnie Price)
Peyton is so excited to be back on “stage” and performing with his home theatre, Mason Community Players. Favorite stage credits include Gaston in Beauty and the Beast and Bob Wallace in White Christmas. Peyton’s favorite off-stage credits are as a member of the founding production team for MCP’s much-beloved Gender Bender Revue series, now in its fifth consecutive year. Peyton is also proud to have previously served as MCP’s President and founded MCP’s Finance Committee, and he currently serves as the group’s Search Committee chair. Peyton has been told he has a guilty face, but don’t be fooled – he is innocent!
Joel Lind (as Walter Mason)
Joel Lind has died in performance before. Sometimes it’s even been part of the script. Joel has appeared with a great many local theatre companies, but MCP is his heart and his home. His myriad credits here include Guys and Dolls, Of Mice and Men, The Fantasticks, A Few Good Men, Pride and Prejudice, and both the Contemporary and Elizabethan Versions of “Who’s On First.” Joel has shamelessly bribed his way to three cherished Ohio Community Theatre Association Awards: The Spirit of Community Theatre (2020), Outstanding Utility Player (2011), and most significantly, Excellence in Seductive Layered Strip Tease Performance (2015).
Phil Catlin (as Howard Marshall)
Phil is a long time veteran of MCP. Over the years he has appeared on stage in dozens of shows including Man of LaMancha, The Fantasticks, Our Town, and The Visit, backstage on more than 40 shows, with titles like Sound Design and Execution, Lighting Execution and Stage Manager. He’s built the set, and even the stage! Now he’s delighted to appear “on camera” in this fantastic murder mystery. Phil shares his love of theater with his wife Laureen, his sons, Larry, Stephen and Chris, his daughter-in-law, Tess, and now, his granddaughter Felicity. He’s also the proud grandpa of Harmony, Adaline and Dominic.

Jennifer Lisa has been a part of MCP since 2005. She has been lucky enough share her love of the stage with her whole family on numerous occasions, including this show with her daughter Alexandra. This role was a new one for her that stretched her acting abilities - Thank you, Melissia, for trusting that I could take on this role. This was a great, new, fun experience!
