Mamma Mia! Cast

Natalie Brunner (Sophie Sheridan)
Natalie Brunner (she/her) is a junior and is playing Sophie Sheridan! This is her second time performing in Mamma Mia and is beyond excited to do it again! Some of her favorite roles include Wednesday in “The Addams Family,” Ladybug in “James and the Giant Peach,” and Taylor McKessie in “High School Musical!” She would like to thank all of her friends and family for helping her throughout all her years of theatre and hopes you’ll all enjoy the show!
Maddie Machain (Donna Sheridan)
Maddie(she/her) is a senior at MERHS! Her past involvement with the Drama Club includes Sound Design for last year’s Drama Fest show, Oh What A Tangled Web, and playing the role of Schwartzy in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In her free time, Maddie enjoys being the High School Band’s #1 Fan, playing Minecraft, making obscure references, and listening to music. Maddie would like to formally apologize to her mom for not doing the dishes the other night. She is very excited to sing and dance to ABBA alongside her friends. Maddie would also like to thank her mom, sister, and stepdad for accepting and supporting her through everything. Maddie hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does!
Gabi D'Andrea (Tanya)
Gabbi D’Andrea is a junior at MERHS and is playing Tanya! Her most recent roles include Medda Larkin in “Newsies” and Kelsi Nielson “High School Musical”. She is so glad to be preforming with the high school for the first time, especially for such a fun show like Mamma Mia! She would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support and give a huge thank you to Ms. Garofolo and Mr. Icnogole for everything they have done to help us to bring this amazing show to life!
Martha Davis (Rosie)
Martha Davis (Rosie) is a senior at MERHS. Past productions include MERHS’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Oh, What a Tangled Web, and Losers’ Club, among others. She’d like to thank the cast and crew of the MERHS drama club for a great four years and an incredible final show.
Owen O'Leary (Sam Carmichael)
Owen O’Leary is a Senior at MERHS, but this is his first musical with the Drama Department. He’s has acted in the past DramaFest shows (Oh, What a Tangled Web as Eliot Quigley and The Losers Club as Kevin). He is very excited to be acting along his wonderful cast mates one last time! He wants to thank his friends, family, and Dan Cortese!
Josh Cohen (Harry Bright)
Josh Cohen (Harry Bright) is a sophomore at MERHS. Past credits include Kenickie (Grease), William Barfée (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Morris Quigley (Oh, What a Tangled Web), Mr. Smee (Peter Pan), Baker (Into the Woods), Uncle Fester (The Addams Family), Mayor Shinn (The Music Man), Earthworm (James and the Giant Peach), Gaston’s Crony (Beauty and the Beast), and Principal Augustus (The Grunch). He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him, Ms. Garofalo for her expert choreography, Mr. Icenogle for his musical prowess, and the entire cast and crew for their positive energy.
Wren Shanks (Bill Austin)
Wren Shanks (He/They) is a freshman who likes to sing, dance, listen to music, and write in their free time. Wren has been in a total of 5.5 shows including Mamma Mia and likes to learn about their fellow cast members.
Alessia Omari (Lisa)
Alessia Omari is a sophomore at MERHS, and this is her first time doing a musical with the Drama Department. In her spare time she enjoys singing, writing, drawing, listening to music, and watching movies. She would like to thank her friends for their unconditional support, and would like to thank Ms. Garofalo and Mr. Icenogle for the time and effort that they have put into this program.
Lila Carpenter (Ali)
Lila Carpenter is a senior at MERHS. Lila is a member of the SoundWaves acapella group and is very involved in the music and arts program at MERHS. Lila has been performing since she was 7 years old and has been singing for as long as she can remember. She would like to thank her friends, family, and especially the cast and crew for making this show come to life.
Lydia Schwartz (Sky)
Lydia is a senior. This is her her first high school production.
Ellie Wendell (Pepper)
(she/her) is a senior and is playing the role of Pepper. Despite having Tourette Syndrome, Ellie continues to push through to act and sing and has been in over 15 shows. She would like to thank her mom for being her biggest supporter.
Caroline Quinn (Eddie)
I'm a junior. I have been doing theatre for five years. I enjoy band class and chorus and I hope to go to college for theatre.
Libby McKinnon (Minister Alexandrios)
I was a national synchronized swimmer for 7 years and did small plays in grade school at Brookwood. I want to thank my fellow cast mates, my family for driving me to and from rehearsal and hearing me practicing singing in my basement, and Mr. Icenogle and Mrs. Garofalo for putting together an amazing show!
Kyra Levasseur (Ensemble)
(she/her) Kyra is a senior who likes writing poetry. She says, "I don't have much experience in theatre but enjoy singing. I was the Bishop in Shrek in 6th grade!"
Charlie Grace (Ensemble)
In the past, I have done multiple different shows such as; Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Annie, Elf, James and the Giant Peach, and others. Only recently this summer I have gotten back into it when I did Grease for Summerstage! I love performing and being on stage and cannot wait for more upcoming shows!
Cindy Haight (Ensemble)
I have always been very passionate about theater and I’m so honored to be apart of such a wonderful cast! I want to thank my family and friends for encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and pursue my love for Mama Mia! I also want to thank Ms. Garofalo and Mr. Ice for bringing it all together!
