In 1938, Orson Wells and Mercury Theater presented H.G. Wells story "War of the Worlds" Columbia Broadcasting radio. 

Northern Stage Works uses the original script to recreate this experience that, at the time, scared the listening audience into near panic.

Mars has 'exploded.'  Aliens have landed.  The human race is at peril!
