Into the Woods Jr. Cast

Alex Overman (The Narrator)
Alex Overman is ecstatic to be in her first major role of the Narrator and the Mysterious Man. As new sophomore at Linton Stockman High School, she has appeared as Pig Pen in the play 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' as well as Tessie from 'Annie' her eight grade year at White River Valley Middle School. Alex will be playing travel softball with her team Lady Hawks Elite most of the summer. She hopes to continue acting for her school and other theaters in any role she can get. She is studying and is keeping a strong grade in Spanish classes. She enjoys singing well know songs from musicals. She thanks her friends, family and the directors for believing in her as well her school softball coaches Beth Wernz and Jill Weber for allowing her to be late to softball practice for rehearsals. Alex plans to go to college for a degree in film-making and Marine Biology to become a Marine Documentary Filmmaker.
Peter Garcia (The Baker)
Senior Peter Garcia plays the role of the Baker in our musical. Peter was born in Corona, California, and has attended Linton-Stockton High School since his freshman year. Musical performance has been a part of his life, from participating in the high school honor choir to serving as worship leader at Clay City Assembly of God. After graduation, he plans on studying abroad in Mexico and has just returned from a spring break trip in the beautiful country, enjoying local cuisine and surfing.
Abby Jarman (The Baker's Wife)
Abigail Jarman, performing as the Baker’s Wife is a senior attending Linton-Stockton High School. Her parents are Amy and Bill Edwards and she is accompanying the stage with her younger brother Gregory Jarman, performing as Jack. Abby has been a part of school musicals since the 7th grade. She has held lead roles such as Mrs. Bucket in Ronald Dahl’s Willy Wonka and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. Abby plans to continue performing after graduation as she attends Anderson University to major in Music Education. Abby thanks her parents, friends, family, and directors for always supporting her love of performing and teaching her many skills needed to help her grow as a person. She is very thankful for her directors who have aided in producing this musical after recovering from COVID-19’s effects on the school.
Brooklyn Franklin (The Witch)
Brooklyn Franklin, playing the role of The Witch, is excited to be a part of the cast for Into The Woods Jr.. As a senior who has gone to Linton since Kindergarten, Brooklyn has been cast in shows since the 5th grade including Herr Zeller in Sound of Music, Jack Scott in Highschool Musical: The Musical, Mrs. Gloop in Willy Wonka, and (although sadly interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic) Madame De La Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast. After high school, Brooklyn is going to USI to major in psychology and she hopes to be involved in the Chamber Choir, Women's Choir, and theatre program. Brooklyn would like to thank Katie Graves as the director for giving her this chance to perform and the cast for making her last Linton Stockton performance memorable.
Peyton Smith (Little Red Ridinghood)
Peyton Smith is pleased and excited to be playing the role of Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods Jr. A freshman at Linton-Stockton High School, Peyton has played the role of Charlie in Willy Wonka, a Vontrapp child in The Sound of Music, a cheerleader in High School Musical, and a few other musical productions. Peyton is also a track and cross country runner as well as a cheerleader at Linton. Peyton would like to thank her wonderful director, Katie Graves, as well as her sports coaches for their patience as they help her balance her activities. She is also extremely grateful for her parents who have always been so supportive of her.
Millie Lynn (Cinderella)
Emelia is thrilled to be performing the role Cinderella for Into the Wood Junior. She is an 8th grader at Linton-Stockton Middle School. She was in the Sound of Music as Gretl, Willy Wonka as Violet Beauregard, The land of lost stories as Princess and the Pea, and Annie as Molly. She enjoys to sing as a member of the middle school choir, dance for the Miner Kadets, and play the flute for the middle school band. She also does many sports. Emelia wants to thank her family and friends for always supporting her and pushing her to do her best in everything that she does. She also wants to thank everyone that has put their time and effort into making the musical the best it can be.
Eddie Hensley (Cinderella's Prince/The Wolf)
Eddie Hensley is very grateful and excited to be performing as both The Big Bad Wolf and Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods Jr. He is a Senior at Linton Stockton High School, and he is very sad to be leaving high school so soon! He has been apart of the Linton Stockton High School Choir and has been in a few production by Shawnee Theatre. You might have seen him in productions like "The Wizard of Oz" and the two productions of the "Murder Mystery Melodrama" by Shawnee Theatre. Eddie enjoys working on his singing skills and watching as many musicals as he can! Eddie would like to thank his fellow castmates for making the stage feel like a second home to him. H would also like to thank the support of his friends and family for giving him the confidence he needs through these trying times. Finally, Eddie would like to thank Mrs. Graves, Mrs.Todd, Mr. Harness, and Mrs. Puckett for making all of this possible.
Alexus Campbell (Cinderella's Stepmother)
Alexus Campbell is playing the role of Cinderella's stepmother and is very happy to be playing said role. Alexus is in 10th grade, attending Linton Stockton High School. Alexus has appeared in some of the middle school musicals. Alexus' other hobbies are drawing and playing guitar. Alexus would like to thank the directors of the musical as it couldn't be possible without them.
Tharon Campbell (Cinderella's Father/The Steward)
Tharon Campbell is very happy to be performing as Cinderella's Father and The Steward. As an eights grader, Tharon has played many roles, including Harold and the Purple Crayon, the server, and Drake from Annie. Tharon spends his free time singing and dancing. Tharon thanks his mom, Ashley Hibbard, and his Aunt, Kim Mize. They have all helped with costumes and helped with his lines. Tharon loves spending time with his family and friends. He also loves going to Bethel Baptist Church.
Violet Miller (Florinda)
Violet Miller is very excited to be playing the role of Florinda, Cinderella's stepsister. She has previously been in a number of different musicals such as Annie Jr. with the role of Annie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with the role of Augustus, and a few Shawnee Theatre Summer camp productions. Violet is a seventh grader at Linton Stockton Middle School, and has big dreams for her future. She would like to thank Mrs. Graves for making this show come to life, Mrs. Todd for making the set look beautiful, Carmen Botsford for making my gorgeous costume, Connie Miller for always being by my side, Steve Miller for putting up with my bickering, and the whole cast of Into The Woods for being so supportive of each other along the way.
Chelsea Bowman (Lucinda)
Chelsea Bowman is a 6th grader and plays Lucinda. She was born in Washington, Indiana. She has had no acting experiences beside playing the Clarinet in band. She was a student at WRV but is now a Linton Miner. She would like to thank her parents for encouraging her and feels she couldn't have made it without them.
Gregory Jarman (Jack)
Gregory Jarman is playing the lead role of Jack for this musical. Gregory lives in Linton IN and attends Linton Stockton Middle school. He is in the seventh grade. He is in the middle school band and plays the alto saxophone. He was also in a musical fifth-grade year he was in Rodhals Willy Wonka and played the lead role of Mike TV. He would like to thank all the people who helped get the musical ready because without them there would probably be no musical.
Bladan Keller (Jack's Mother)
Bladan Keller was born in Linton, Indiana. She has attended school at the Linton-Stockton School Corporation from kindergarten to 10th grade. She was going to be in the LSHS's version of Beauty and the Beast but due to Covid, they were not able to have the show. She has been in choir for 6 years and has recently started piano. She would like to thank all of her directors and cast for being able to help pull this whole show together and putting all of the hard work in to make the show successful. She wants to give a big thank you to her grandma and grandpa who are always there to support her and for giving her pep talks about the future. She wants to thank her parents for always being there for her and pushing her to be the best she can at everything she does.
Austin Ball (Rapunzel's Prince)
Austin Ball is a 17-year-old senior and has gone to Linton-Stockton for his life. He has been doing musicals since the 7th grade. He has played Linus from You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Max from The Sound Of Music, Zeke from High School Musical, Phineous Trout from Willy Wonka, and (if not for Covid) Maurice from Beauty And The Beast. Austin is undecided about life after high school, but does want to do something with music.
Quinn Mason (Milky-White)
Quinn Mason , a seventh grader, as Milky White was happy to hear that she could continue playing the role of an animal. Quinn lives in Linton Indiana. Her favorite subjects are choir and language arts. She hopes to play in the musical next year, and thanks her family, friends, and her cat Little Bit Rip.
Brynn Anderson (Cinderella's Mother/Rapunzel)
Brynn Anderson is ecstatic to play the roles of Rapunzel and Cinderella's Mother. She is a freshman, and she has been in many other musicals. One honorable mention would be her as Miss Hannigan in the musical, Annie. Brynn loves her castmates and was so excited to be able to have a musical this year. Brynn would like to thank her entire family for being very supportive when it comes to her acting. She doesn't know what she would do without their support! Brynn hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does.
Kati Harden (Granny)
Kati Harden was born in Indianapolis. Kati developed a love for musical things at a very young age. So once she got into the fourth grade, she decided to start pursuing. She joined choir in the very next year she decided to start doing some shows. This is Kati‘s fourth show, she is thrilled to be performing as Granny in into the woods. Kati has been in other shows such as the greatest Christmas pageant ever in the land of the lost stories. Kati is now an eighth grader and all her teachers have seen how much she’s grown. Kati hopes to keep pursuing her musical dreams. She plans on doing more shows in the future.
Bella Rutledge (Horse/Ensemble)
Bella Rutledge, who plays in the ensemble, is extremely proud to be joining the spring preeminence of Into the Woods JR. Bella lives in Linton with her family and attends the Linton Stockton School corp. She is in the seventh grade, and her favorite subjects are science and Social Studies. Bella first appeared on stage, also in the ensemble, for Annie Jr. She is best-known for playing sound effect guy in Annie Jr. Bella also enjoys playing volleyball and drawing. Bella would like to thank her mom, dad, and her sister for their love and support. She also thanks the directors for allowing her to enjoy this valuable experience.
Abby Brownfield (Student Assistant Director)
Abigail (Abby) Brownfield is delighted with the opportunity to be the student director of the musical, Into the Woods. Abby is a senior at Linton- Stockton High School, originally from Tampa, Florida. She is involved in National Honor Society, FFA, FCA, student council, choir, softball, and basketball. She enjoys the outdoors and playing piano. Upon graduation, Abby will attend Lincoln Trail College to pursue a career in education. Abby would like to thank her parents for always supporting her dreams. Lastly, Abby would like to thank director Katie Graves for believing in her by giving this position!
